This strikes me as a dull day but I thought that about Sunday ... and then all that happened.
Please, Ekaterina, do your duty one more time.

I think Ferrer may have some chance at beating Novak. Maybe not much, but I think some ...
Lifetime Djokovic leads him 6-5 and three of Ferrer's wins have come on clay. But he's such a consistent player if Novak has a poor day he'll take advantage. I wonder ...

Fit D does have SF points from last year (d. #1 Nadal) he would like to defend, undoubtedly.

Gosh, that GMT schedule threw me off, with matches not starting till 0000. Go Makar, beat your sister Sharap! Remember that she has learned to choke in the past couple of years!

It is funny how Errani looks kinda lost on RLA compared to her matches on Court Court or some other parking lot.
I hope she doesn't get steamrolled, but it could easily happen.

According to stats, it's Shitra out there playing, but she's leading

Yes, the commentator here was saying "Petra's UEs tell the story" -- except they don't. Shitra's on full display but is having no trouble with poor Sara nonetheless.

Yes, she's making a million errors. She wins all the points where she doesn't make one though.

So I guess this is how Serena was playing in her opening rounds? Because people on WTAW were all "I knew this was going to happen, she was playing like crap in all her matches here" when she lost to Makarova, and I was surprised to read that since she had lost like 6 games in three matches combined before that loss.

Errani is such an irritating gnat. GO AWAY. LET PETRA BE GREAT.

such a horrible set. SHitra in full form but Errani lacks the depth, weight of shot, power and a dozen other things to do anything about it.

Oh dear that FH. Shitra very much with us.

Still...only one break. That's not nearly enough to settle my stomach with Shiitra in full view.

Little gnats can drive large bulls crazy, I think! But really, Shitra has to go home and let Petra have a look in so we can get this set done. I like it, though.

Serves it out pretty easily in the end. She's been petty shitrastic throughout the whole tournament. I don't see her losing this one, but this level is not going to cut it against Masha.

It's sad but funny, the way little Sara is running around working so hard, still behind despite the PK errorfest, and then Petra finds the court just a couple of times and it's over just like that.

Let's just hope she can crank it up when she has to. She's probably not too worried about her form in this match, knowing, just like we do, that she can win it no matter how badly she plays.

But...I mean, that is what worries me, in that Errani is definitely not going to give up. She is FORZA and Petra is SHIITRA
