Rain.
Pretty silly scheduling. Did they really think they would get the women's doubles done today?

Marray/Nielsen were 5-2 up but then five perfect points in a row for Lindstedt/Tecau.
Yes, I'm still following this.

I'm fine with Silliams winning stuff. If only she'd prevented Maria from winning stuff. The damn Sistahs don't even do that right anymore. Sigh.

I am watching DNOC too; not every day you get to see doubles specialists on actual TV.

LOL at Lindstedt. I didn't even see where that volley went. Weird guy, too. Uh oh, 0-30.

I've seen too much of Lindstedt/Tecau from Tennis Channel. Now that there's more doubles on TV, you realize it's mostly luck.

I've seen too much of Lindstedt/Tecau from Tennis Channel. Now that there's more doubles on TV, you realize it's mostly luck. Well, especially with no-ad scoring and super tiebreakers. But, yes, if you take out Nestor/Zimonjic and Bryan/Bryan, it's pretty much a crapshoot. Case in point, WC team about to win Wimbledon.

Lindstedt is so dislikeable.

Even with the Bryans, it's luck. They only have a slight advantage because they're so good at net positioning for the silly net battles.

I was about to go out and then the 4th set TB happened. Tennis reduces me to a wreck sometimes.

It is, indeed. It comes down to very few points where you need to play well/get lucky. But that's alright. It makes for nice stories. Remember Huss/Moodie winning as qualifiers?

Nielsen has very sweet puppy-dog eyes, I want to hug him.
And then do him.
Marray can join in, or not, I don't really mind.
LOL they're actually playing the women's doubles final now. I'm going to the pub.

LOL at Nielsen not wanting to sacrifice his singles career for doubles.
Current rank: 305. Best rank: 190.

It could well have happened, XOYO was one of the places we contemplated going to last night. Opted for elsewhere though.
