Begu leads Azza 4-1 in the second set She fought off about a million break points from 0-40 down in the last game, two on serves called out that she had to challenge. Ump screwed up on the second though, it was gonna be a service winner anyway but Azarenka touched it so it should have been a replayed point instead of awarded to ICB. "Can you frickin' learn a little bit?" whines Vika.

Bepa wins in straights again - this time over Schiavone. WTF. And no, this can't possibly be love for mother Russia bs. Right? Kvitty tied with Peng 7-5, 2-6. I'm glad Venus won.

Love for Mother Russia BS is always applicable. Except for the one "RUS" that can actually win.

Is the Zheng thing some inside joke, or merely the Azn love that everyone has here. I don't think she'll even beat Nadezhda on grass. Seemed pretty obvious to me!

To be fair, Bepa had beaten Franny the last 10 times they'd played. We all know her h2h with Ree. SHITRA shitting her way to another 4th place finish I see. Woo. Grassonkova out

But I'll be good.

It's not like they lost to awful players I mean, Lisicki for example might have been a more "sensible" pick but she got taken to 7-5 in the third by Ons Jabeur. Zheng is a former Wimbledon SFist who gave Serverena her toughest match last month, but Petrova's stellar record against CHN was always going to be a potential stumbling block.

Let's hope this is the end of the Grassonkova business.

Go Woz Go!
Hopefully Ana beats Kim this time. There`s maybe a 1% chance.
I`m sad that there will be no medal for Poland.
Woz is primed to beat Venus. I call that one.

Petra out of the doubles with an ab injury Presumably the one that's been bothering her all year.

Vee is rampant thus far. Care Bear must defend SEWTA.

Sharapova vs Lisicki again. UGH.

I guess it does fall to CareBear.
Actually, no. I think Azza will beat her if all else fails.
Whatever Kvitova does here, just please not a loss to Pennetta.

I won't mind if Venus has her last hurrah here (and how much fun would it be if she knocked Serena out of the SF) but I think Care Bear won't mess around in that one. The bottom half is much more ominous than the Williamses, look at all the awful people in it.

You'll feel better when Goerges loses, Lex.
Oh, have we talked enough about how absurd it is that Sharapova still plays for Russia? Girl, change your citizenship, please.

I won't, because Goerges losing would mean Kirilenko winning. That's how bad that section is!

I don't mind Vee winning either, but it's yet another discrediting of SEWTA if she keeps winning. Along with the 123413242th example of the Williams' suddenly winning when they're assed to care.

Why did Kirilenko make the QF at Wimbledons 1 and 2. If Kvitova finds a way to lose to that...it would be well-deserved for the both of us.

I guess GOATra showed up today? 6-3, 6-0. And Kirilenko through to the QF.

We need Kvitova in the gold medal match. Preferably defeating both Mashas along the way.

Masha got her RG title, we need to spread the love a little. If Masha can get rid of Lisicki then pretty much all the trash is out of the bottom half (save Kim) - and she has the best shot against Serena in the final; the others will all get raped.

Also, can someone punch Petrova for allowing Azza to still be in the tournament?
