Delpo up a set and a break.
My stream of the final just stopped working - Muzza at deuce; hope he can consolidate the break.

Massive, massive hold from Murray. Lost track of how many BPs he saved. 6-2 3-0.

Delpo with the bronze medal! So happy for him! I even felt sorry for Novak, cause 4th place sucks, but thankfully he has a bronze already.

6-2 6-1. Wow. The weirdest and most impressive aspect of this is that it hasn't actually been Murray dominating so much as Murray winning every tight game. So many games he's come from 15-30 behind etc...

Oh, well, exciting for Britain if Murray wins this. But I'm more excited for JMDP. Hope this nice run means he can win the US Open again this year.

My coverage switched to mens gymnastics, with mens tennis a tiny square on the bottom right. Boo.

Women's vault final: world's only sport where you can literally fall on your butt and still pick up a silver medal. Though possibly that has happened in figure skating, too.

It's just quite surprising how bad Roger has been. He ... may have pulled the last game out of the fire, but I don't see him coming back at all.

Winning gold with an ace. Olympic redemption. I'm so pleased for him.

At least Roger did slightly better than Maria.

And it was nice to see Wimbledon crowd to actually support their own player! The difference with the usual Wimbledon crowd was obvious.

There it is. Muzza finally won something that took five sets to do it.
Good for him. He was definitely the better player today. I wonder if this might propel him to win his first Grand Slam in New York. I'm not betting against it.
I wonder where Roger goes from here ... obviously, he's not playing this week in Canada, opting to rest for a week before Cincy. Hopefully, he can put this defeat (easily his worst-ever loss at Wimbledon) behind him. It's been a wonderful few weeks for him. I just hope it's not coloured by the wretched match he played today.
I'm sure he doesn't really care right now, but #1 is safe through next week regardless of Novak's performance. I hope Roger can turn the page because Nole seems pretty out-of-sorts and I think Fed could finish year-end #1. Strong chance.

That was a shocker, but she landed her first vault fine, which is what I assume counted. Murray's gonna win Slams now. Winning suited him oddly well.

I am thrilled beyond words. Even that final game at 5-4, I refused to believe it till the final ace came through. Hopefully he now gets on track to start winning Slams rather than going the route of Dementieva.

Happened in trampoline, as well. After watching gymnastics and boxing, I'm ignoring all sports with subjective scoring. It's ridiculous.
