Interesting opening two rounds for Fed, two men against whom he's had to come back from two sets down in recent Wim first weeks. Rod Dick getting Nole in the 2R hahahahahaha suck it "Oooh horrible draw for Murray" - yeah, like Wimbledon. Muzza has no issues with dangerous floaters - if he loses early he'll lose to whomever, like Young - but he is soooooooo damn lucky that Rafa w/d and he has a shot at a medal, at least.

If Roger can't parlay this into a medal, it's just never going to happen.

This is going to be pretty straightforward, isn't it?
Gold: Roger Silver: Novak Bronze: Anduh

But it's the Olympics, so Isner will probably win.

Right? I was just thinking about how (a) Olympics is always weird in men's singles and (b) but the only person in Roger's half I could envision stopping him is...Isner.

Also...if Petzschner is in, don't they have to move either him or Kohlschreiber to the other half??

Yeah - I guess they didn't bother since Karlovic withdrew after the draw.

I forgot that Federer lost the bronze medal play-off in 2000...to Arnaud Di Pasquale

Ryan Harrison is such a useless baby. Racquet smash after failing to break Giraldo at 3-4*, and an even bigger one when he DFs the match away in the next game. GTFO, brat.

Tragic attempt at serving out the match by Darcis.

Haaa, I was just reading an article in which the Harrison dad was quoted as saying what a great role model Ryan is.

Fat Dave was routed by Snotso. Darcis routined Berdpoo. Little Oli lost a t-b to Isner, now down a break in the second. Get ready for handshake pix, photogs!

Federror in trouble against inspired Falla!
He was 6-3 5-3 up, wasted 0-40 on Falla's serve, lost serve, wasted 0-40 on Falla's serve, lost serve from 30-0 up. LOL.

3-3 in the third. Gotta keep holding serve and Chokerer will appear in the third, just as he did in the second, and just as he has in every big tournament of late, save this last bloody Wimbledon.

Oh. I've been trying the LSH links, but either it's another showing another event or not opening. How's the match coming along?

Federer won the last three games. Falla was just too reckless at the end, he needed to be more patient and let Federer pile up the UEs at crunch time. But I suppose that is not Falla's game.

Well, Fed won, which is all that counts. He sucked early on at Wimbledon too.
Now he has a chance to suck against Benneteau. I bet he will.

Yeah - I guess they didn't bother since Karlovic withdrew after the draw. FIX LOL, Kohlschreiber pulled out anyway, with a "foot injury," after he played (and lost) the Kitzbuhel final on clay today.

Kohlschreiber What a ludicrous player. If you don't care about the Olympics why accept a place on the team in the first place?

People on MTF are talking about how he has a contract with his sponsors to play all German events (even though Kitzbuhel is...Austrian?? But it...also counts??) and the German NOC dicking everyone around with their extreme qualification scenarios until right before the deadlines did not allow him to schedule properly and w/d from Kitzbuhel.
So...whatever.

Anduh passes with flying colours!
6-3, 6-3 over Wawrinka on indoors grass after losing the Wimbledon final is pretty impressive.
