Yeah but then people would be whining about his integrity in Tour events.

He doesn't have go out there and take the piss by not trying. He just has to treat it like a practice/exo match like many players have in the week before a Slam or whatever. If he doesn't make it a pattern, no one would mind given the circumstances.
Whatever, he's in London now and the rain will have bought him some time.

I am overwhelmed by sports from every direction. I was trying to watch gymnastics, canoe slalom and archery at the same time earlier and my poor brain did not know what was going on.

My computer is crying. Tabs, links, scores, failed streams to fill an Olympic-size swimming pool. I don't know how I'm suppose to do anything at work tomorrow. I really do plan to take Thursday and Friday off if all my projects can be postponed.

People on MTF are talking about how he has a contract with his sponsors to play all German events (even though Kitzbuhel is...Austrian?? But it...also counts??) and the German NOC dicking everyone around with their extreme qualification scenarios until right before the deadlines did not allow him to schedule properly and w/d from Kitzbuhel. So...whatever. This is probably all true but it doesn't change that Kohlschreiber is pretty unintelligent, considering his dumbass friends sitting in his box and his bimbo girlfriend, that he makes very poor choices and comes across badly in the media. He probably doesn't even fully realise how bad his image is right now, despite reaching top 20. In all, an awful person.

There have been significant crying babies at three of the tennis matches I've popped into, including two separate ones happening right now. Presumably Jennifer Capriati's induction into the Hall of Fame has convinced them she's never coming back and it's safe for them to emerge again. Regarding the actual tennis, 4 breaks in 5 games played between Goffin and Monaco so far, lol.

Did anyone consider that he might actually have an injured foot? Or hamstring or whatever it is?

Hope the German wins. I'm pleased with Jaziri holding his own against Isner. And Flo barely getting through 9-7 in the third. Roger had it easy against Benneteau this time. Did anybody see the match - was this JesusFed again?

Anyway, it was a nice break for SLOperstar Blaz Kavcic, who got to play Vishnu Vardhan and won 2 & 3.
Vardhan is Leander's partner in the Bollywood doubles.

Interesting side note on Vardhan. I've seen him referred to as Jagdeesan Vishnuvardhan, P. Vishnuvardhan and then Vishnu Vardhan.

Speaking of Indians, BHUPATHI / BOPANNA (IND) [7] defeated BURY / MIRNYI (BLR) 7-6(4) 6-7(4) 8-6. Say, I wonder whether the Russians will extradite Bogomolov Jr back to the USA?

Did anyone consider that he might actually have an injured foot? Or hamstring or whatever it is? I don't think anyone's doubting that, just calling him stupid for risking injury by playing deep in Kitzbühel! I thought Grigor had a shot at Twilight too.

Total, total destruction of Rod Dick by Nole there. Soooo sweet to watch. Especially when Nole got cocky towards the end.

How'd he get cocky in the end? Details please!

At the other end of the scale, Conga and Wownic at 17-17 in the third and I see no reason for this to end any time soon. I'm watching the gymnastics obv but this is good for background noise if/when anyone gets to MP.

Tsonga had MP at 21-20 but now it's 21-21.

It was at least his third. Nole's cockiness earlier wasn't a big thing, he chased down a drop shot to hit a great winner to get to his first MP - obv hadn't won yet but still did the looking to his box, chest-beating thing right in front of Roddick

And Tsonga finally closes it at 25-23. Thoughts on Hewitt over Cilic in straights? He'll still be easy pickings for Nole.

I kind of predicted that one after Hewitt won Newport, Cilic's capacity for idiocy can strike at any time. Hopefully Nole repeats today over him.
