Baghdatis is unwatchable. I knew he would eventually miss a sitter like that one. Now it's over.

Yay. Hope the third set is as easy for Muzza - enough BSing for one match.

Muzza survives. Just get to the medal round, you moron.

I definitely agree that this is the first year where the people who say that the Olympics are as important as a Slam might have a point. Errbody wants this shit. ...but I will admit that it makes the men's singles much less interesting, especially during such a heavily stratified era. The days of Rosset, di Pasquale, Paes, and Meligeni are over.

Now that Steve Darcis is out, I have to agree with you.

There's just something extra-annoying when one bothers to be a fan of many scrubs and then scrubs actually win big stuff but they're still not even your scrubs.

Djokovic had brief troubles with Hewitt in Australia. I'm not surprised this one was close. But I think Lleyton missed a big chance.
I sincerely hope that Djokovic is not establishing a hex on Tsonga. What happened in Paris might be really bad. When shit like that goes down, you have to get right back on the horse. Tsonga needs to win tomorrow, man!
I hate John Isner's game. Let's let that be known. He does have a chance to beat Roger, no doubt. I HOPE it doesn't happen ... but it might.

So .. the semis are set.
I think Murray has a chance. Djokovic has blown hot and cold at this tournament and Andy will probably not freeze up under the pressure. He performed pretty well at Wimbledon.
As for Federer-Del Potro, you wouldn`t think this would be a good time for JMDP to win. On the other hand, it would make numerical symmetry. Fed has won their last six. The last time that happened, JMDP won the seventh.
But that`s just stupid patterns. I think there`s a 60-70% chance of a Fed-Novak final with most of that uncertainty owing to Murray.
On the other hand, I haven`t been right about much these Olympics.

I'd have to agree with you - Murray is the big question mark and he has always played Novak close (Miami final notwithstanding) but I still think when it comes down to crunch time, Anduh blinks first. Fed-Novak is looking most likely.

I felt Federer was controlling the match much more towards the end of the second set. A lot of the time with errors, but still. That ludicrous game where he nearly got broken was a good example, you can't really say Pony missed a chance there.

I wish Pony would just remember to move his hooves a bit more, his footwork's not usually this sloppy.
