This week the Copa Argentina! Del Potro, Nalbandian, Mónaco, Acasuso, Calleri, Cañas, Chela are joined by Spaniards López & Moyá. It looks like there is no Moya. Also, Del Potro and calleri are out, replaced by Massu and... Gaudio. Gaudio actually had an impressive albeit meaningless tournament, beating Chucho and Feli Lopez and reaching the finals where he lost to Monaco, por 7-6 (5) y 7-6 (3). Fat Dave was eliminated in the opening round by Chelala.

A Murray (GB) bt his batch R Federer (Swi) 4-6 6-2 7-6 (8-6) Doesn't look as though Roj had any match points and in fact had to fight back from 1-4 in the 3rd and 3-6 in the t-b, so it probably shouldn't have been as close as it was.

"Andre Agassi returns to the Advanta WTT Pro League, playing two matches for the Philadelphia Freedoms. Andre plays July 10 in Philly and July 17 in Newport Beach. He previously played WTT from 2002-04."
I first misread this and thought it said he'd be playing two MINUTES for the Philly team. Then I realized, that's not really very far off, with that WTT setup.

So, I'm watching the Stefanie/Andre vs. TIGER TIMBLEDON/Saint Kim match at Center Court.
It's very weird hearing a Wimbledon match indoors.
And Andre needs to stop putting his grubby hands on Queen Stefanie. She owns that court, you heathen. Marriage is no excuse.
And putting this match as the same time as the Madrid men's final probably wasn't wise.

The Spanish club championship went to The Club de Tenis Valencia: Daniel Gimeno-Traver, Rubén Ramirez Hidalgo, Iván Navarro Pastor, Pablo Andujar, Miguel Angel López-Jaén, Morgan Phillips y Pablo Martin Adalia.
Carlosh Moya played his first competitive match in 9 months at that championship, a doubles match for the Club de Tenis Barcelona. The word on the street is that he will return to the tour next year, but has no idea how things will go and has no specific objectives beyond playing some tournaments.

French club championships, day 1, Nov. 14
The oddest sight was the name of Cheery Jiri Novak among the players of Bressuire TC. He won his match, 63 63 over Pless but his team (which also included I.Dodig) lost to TC Lillois (led by Benny Becker and the Rochuseses).
Also winners were: Metz (led by The Petzsch) def. Paris Racing (led by Mahut) Bondy (led by Ascione, Patience and Whining Dupuis) over Blagnac (led by Gabashvili and Lacko) Primrose Bordeau (Llodra, Lammer) def. Marignan (Clément, Guez) Rennes (Gicquel, Phau, Ouanna) over TC Paris (Chiudinelli, Allegro, Haehnel) Colomiers (Crazy-Dani) def. Toulouse (bunch of nobodies)
The word on the street is that Paris Racing might bring out the heavy artillery for today's second day: one or more of Santoro, Gasquet, Grosjean or Benneteau.

Belgian Masters final: Dick Norman def. Olivier Rochus, 6-3 et 7-6 (7-3). I have not seen a handshake pic.
Sampras won over Agassi, 3-6, 6-3, 10-8, in an exhibition match held at the Venetian Macao Hotel.

After Day 2, ASPTT Metz and Bondy lead group A, and group B is led by AS Colomiers and Villa Primrose Bordeaux. Lille's loss to Bondy was largely because Oli Rochus was missing. Lille tried to drag out BoBo Ulihrach but he lost 3/6 7/6 6/4 to Pequery. Paris Racing did produce Benneteau, and he was a big reason for their win to put them at 1-1. Crazy-Dani continues to spark Colomiers, as he had a crucial 6/4 0/6 6/2 win over Gicquel of Rennes. Colomiers is now fortified by Granollers, who contributed a 4/6 6/4 6/4 win over Bolelli. There are 5 rounds of play ending Nov. 28, followed by the grand final, Dec. 11-12.

French club championships, day 4
Villa Primrose, led by Llodra, has qualified for the final.
The Gnome made a less than glorious début for Paris Racing yesterday, losing 5/7 6/4 6/0 to Lorenzi. However, and despite another surprising loss (Mahut to I.Dodig), his squad won over Bressuire TC. We note losses by Cheery Jiri Novak in both singles and doubles did not help Bressuire's cause.
We applaud Clément's heroic 4/6 6/4 7/6 win over Crunchy Granollers, which sparked Marignane's victory over Colomiers. Colomiers was without Crazy-Dani yesterday.

I just saw Zeballos beating Schwank, he (Zeballos) is a lesser Gaudio, left handed, but with a good head.
Now Potro and Gonzo play, I will only be able to watch the first 20 minutes
Perhaps I will go to an exho in Buenos Aires in 2 weeks, it will have Safin, Baghdatis, Fat Dave and Gonzo!!!!

Del Potro has his won song La Torre de Tandil "The Tandil Tower"
I is horrible, awful, SKAish, I think his highschool friends made it, or something like that, I hope he didn't give them the money to record an album, Del Potro wanted that song to be played when he entered the court, and his friends were playing it live.
The chorus was something like lets go Delpo we will win
