Day 6

A lot different from Federer-Tomic last year. This time Bernie is pretty close.
I guess everyone in Australia wanted to focus upon this match for Roger but I see Raonic as a tougher test. Always did. All of their matches have been tough. I don't know if Milos is ready to win even yet but there does seem to be something about his game which gives Roger problems. He has a chance with a serve like that.
Meanwhile, stunned about Chardy d. Del Potro. Hey, didn't Chardy beat Muzza once? I thought JMDP was playing so, so well. This is a big setback. I also didn't realize he has never managed a comeback from 2 sets down.

Lost the TB Jovanovski = scrub Azarenka with the same turbo-grinding game and awful noises but that kind of game is too much for Krumm's high-risk flat shots

Mens tennis at times is much worse than women's. I just saw an endless backhand CC pushing by Monfils and Simon that made me feel sick. They both are a disgrace to attacking tennis.

Meanwhile, apparently Monfils and Simon have just played a 71-shot rally It's always gonna be like that between those two because it's a perfect stalemate. If someone starts attacking, he will lose so they have no choice but to grind it out.

This vs. Kvitova/Robson? I didn't see that match, but I imagine they had to go for winners because none of them can move. Still, Monfils and Simon look like the closest relatives of Julia "fucking" Cohen, with the only difference that she is rightfully ranked where players with such deliberately passive game should be.

Get fit, please Sloane Blaz Tomic may have lost, but I see his little sister won. I hope she'll torment him at the dinner table in the tradition of siblings everywhere. Duck Hee Lee!
