LOL, and here I come looking for the schedule to see if there's anything worthy staying up for or waking up for since it's a weekend.

Most of the entertainment this tournament so far has been provided by Monfils clowning around The Show Court 2 matches are probably the most interesting, and Simon/Monfils will be...comic. Tomic/Fed to be another overhyped dud?

Go.
Hampton Avenue Intermediate School (alma mater, 4th and 5th grade). Richardas. Nard-dog. Pony. Tsarenko. Twilight. Roby. Sweater and CSN are both great. Andrewas. Wussquet. Kohli.
Go.
P.S. One of the players on Show Court 2 today is going to the QUARTERFINALS, lol. All four are woefully uninspiring and out of them I guess I'm rooting for BoJo.

Post by janie on Jan 18, 2013 18:12:11 GMT -5
Well, for me it's fun. Some matches I'd like to look in on are happening during the time I'm still awake:
Hampton: Facing a big star, will she freeze up again?
Wickmayer v Kirilenko / Vesnina v Vinci -- Hey, I didn't say the early matches were ALL worth looking in on. But if VvV goes quickly, would love to see some of Tsonga v Blazzzz Sloane v Laura -- check out the next generation Gasquet -- fun for the BH
I just better not wake up in the morning and find that Fed vs Tomic is still going on. Fed MUST win this.

What?? Sweata had a night match on that schedule posted here. What happened to Laura - Sloane? But anyway, CSN is doing even worse than Hampton Avenue, so not sure what to tune into.

As soon as I turned the match on, Jamie broke back with some very nice shotmaking. She doesn't look nervous out there, at least not right now, just overmatched. Though not in that game.
