I'm worried Muzza will push his way to victory. This I do not want.
Last couple times out, he has really attacked the Federer second serve. With some success, although he wasn't able to do it that well in London. I am wondering if this will continue. I don't think he need be as nervous as he has been in past Slam matches with Fed. It's not a final and he has a GS now.
I feel like Roger needs to come out and win the first set if he's going to win. I don't see him coming from behind; instead, I think he needs to sweep past him in three or four if he's going to get the W.

Pretty much agree with what you said, but hoping Roger somehow puts a few good sets together and wins. Annoying conversation at the tennis club today. Some woman, an ex prof at UCB, who has some problems, maybe Parkinson's, maybe some dementia, used to be a huge tennis fan, and always stops to say something to me about the tennis. Today she excitedly told me that Roger had lost in straights, like really fast to Djokovic. I said, "That's not right. He hasn't played yet. It's tomight. He and Djokovic are on opposite sides of the draw etc...It's Ferrer who played Djokovic, and lost." She argued back, "You'll see. That's what I thought, too but he lost." So I let it go. It still unsettled me a bit. Then, I thought maybe she reads the future now, and he will play Djokovic and lose easily. The silver lining is that would mean he beat Murray, which I don't think he will. Oh well, GO ROGER!!!

I'm not too concerned about this match for Muzza. Ofcourse, I'm not implying that it's guaranteed or even easy, especially if Serverrer shows up. Both players have been in great form coming in, but I still think Muzza wins this in straights or max gets pushed to 4 sets.

I was surprised to see that Muzza was the betting favourite. I predicted that he'd win before the tournament but really it's a toss-up. I haven't seen any of Murray's matches but Federer has looked really good so far - getting taken to 5 sets by JWT was more a reflection on JWT's amazing performance and ability to bounce back from losing the TBs.
Errani and Vinci won the doubles. Dominant champions.
Ana Konjuh, who's only just turned 15, is in the girls' final...can't wait to see her play.

(Now that Muzza has his Slam, I'm pretty much back to a vaguely neutral "may the best man win" attitude when it comes to the Big Three, though this might change in the match. I thought my days of rooting for Federer were over some years ago but I was surprised to find that I was cheering for him over Jo, who I love - I think this might be latent sympathy for Olderer, not quite wanting him to retire yet etc.)

Here I am with my latte, chocolate croissant and work laptop open and signed in next to me, "online". ;D
Good start from Muzza. Attacking play. Hideous T-shirt. If Muzza doesn't push, I think he'll win in 4. If not, it may get ugly.

There's the break. Rog is just not serving well yet. He's not able to use the serve to get lots of short balls. Agreed. Haven't seen his first serve percentage but I'm guessing it's not too high. What I do like from Roger is that he's been trying to get into net when he's had the chance - it may not be too effective in the first couple of games but 4-4, 5-5 that should work.

Roger hasn't got the weapons working. Muzz is doing a very good job of playing to his backhand.
I feel like this court is too slow for Roger to win. Even though he got out of that game to stay in touch. He has hit a number of excellent, hard-hit backhands but just can't penetrate Muzz's defense.
