At work for the State, being a leech to society. And for whatever reason the USO stream never works here
Crowds are always dead for the day sessions in the 2nd week. Most kids go back to school, Ashe ticket prices blow, this is the time I'd never go

There is an alternate universe where Robredo steamrolls Gasquet in the semifinals, after Gasquet blows a 2-0 set 5-1 lead.

I'm so happy for Richard, especially for proving the Cult doubters wrong But really, maybe it's because I haven't heard Gasguet-hype in his early days, so I never expected anything from him, but he really improved a lot in his Wuss-ways. He's been a big part of some spectacular matches (this year's match vs Wawrinka comes to mind), so he really fights nowadays. He doesn't always win, obviously, but he's not that bad. And he's been pretty consistent as Top 10 player, nothing spectacular, but solid.

Well, it's not like Ferrer's record in SFs is that great. And everybody predicted Gasquet to blow in this current round, so he already exceeded expectations.

And everybody predicted Gasquet to blow in this current round, so he already exceeded expectations. The expectations were only low because his record of gutlessness cannot be matched.\ As for Ferrer, he did win a slam SF this year, so he could be worse. Anyway, I'm not actually that big on Ferrer. I just have infinitely more respect for him than Gassy is all - OLD people who do more with less are the best at life.

I hold the gutlessness against him, and I just refuse to believe that he's grown out of it. Robredo can get away with the time he was a solid top ten player who couldn't bet anybody above him, because he really wasn't any better than that. I will not excuse Gasquet in the same manner.

I'd prefer him to reach that SF. I just think that Gasquet is treated somewhat unfairly. He had a few hard-fought wins, which are never acknowledged, but his losses are always brought up. I just think he's improved from his early days, and yes, he stopped whining.

For Lady, I will say one nice thing about Gasquet before I'm off: assuming this version of him shows up, his match against Nadal/Robredo(lol) will be more watchable than if it was Ferrer against either of those guys. So, there's that!

Yes, he has definitely stopped whining. It was so humid when he managed to beat Raonic in that long match. He used to just wilt under such conditions. So I understand the claim of gutlessness, but I have to think he's (finally) grown out of that now.
