The USTA refuses to create a real schedule for the tournament tomorrow and so do I! Discuss all the things that are not happening here.

Oh and if anyone actually looks, I apologize about the odd doubles formatting, the way it looks like it's one player against 3. But since it's DNOC, I can't be bothered to fix it, except in the case of Monica Seles (ONCE YUG).

What is Monica doing? Is this related to her being honoured before the women's final?
Muzza please win. No fuckery. Thanks.

Murray/Wawrinka might be interesting. And I can't watch it Do we know what time the SFs will be tomorrow? Both day? Midday start? This tournament is so inconvenient, it's all in the evenings. I DO THINGS on weekend evenings.

Thanks Janie! I completely understand your refusal to not go along with my plan to ignore tennis today. I guess this means that I have to pay attention, too. Wawrinka had a win against Murray at the USO! ... in 2010. He did beat him this year, too, but that was on clay. Still, in with half a shot? Youzhny has some wins against Djokovic, but they're all pretty old. Could snag a set though, maybe. I think both matches have a chance to be interesting for a short while, before the inevitable happens.

Haha, you know Monica; she's probably collecting a nice paycheck for this silly exo. Remember in Wertheim's book how Moni loves money!

That un-legendary doubles pairing is such an embarrassment.

Murray serving at 4-5 and this game has gone on for like 12 minutes so far. Very entertaining. Wish Stan could step up for 2 points in a row, though!

But Andy comes up with the goods. Can't picture Stan can ever win this game no matter how long it goes on.
And yet -- another Break chance. Come ON, Stan!

WOW! Finally! 6th set point and he takes it! Go Stan, prove these commentators wrong.
I do like Andy's outfit, though. What's with all the ankle braces on everyone, though. He looks like he's playing in hiking boots.

I wasn't supposed to be home right now, but my only social plan of the week was ruined by being unable to eat anything in Canada. YAY!

Muzza please win. No fuckery. Thanks. There is plenty of the aforementioned Muzza fuckery going on, so maybe it's good if Ali isn't watching. Yet given his history, it's still hard to doubt that he'll come through.

STAN STAN STAN I wasn't supposed to be home right now, but my only social plan of the week was ruined by being unable to eat anything in Canada. YAY! Yay! I mean, except about your plans, and the food. If you were only on a gluten-free diet, there'd be plenty to eat! Anyway, this match has been fun. But I'm always bracing myself for Stan chokeage.

So far, Stan is holding with a fair amount of ease, which has made it more relaxing to watch.

And finally, the commentators start to give Stan some credit, after laughing off his chances at the start. Long way to go, though, This is I-Love-Being-Two-Sets-Down Andy, after all. But, 5-2 is nice.

If Murray loses this set, will he take an 8-minute bathroom break, à la Fed?

Well! Stan up 2 sets now. Keep on with the errors, Andy! The commentators keep thinking Andy's "waking up" every time he hits a winner. They also expect the crowd to suddenly erupt in GoAndyness. I hope they're wrong on both counts.

A few careless errors from Stan on Andy's serve. I hope that's just him being confident in his ability to hold his own serve games, à la Sampras.
