Flavia looks hampered by a bad leg, Li looking very sharp

At 62 41, Old Hag is getting frustrated with Pennetta's failure to try something different. I harbor no such hopes; am just waiting for it to end.

This AI-EB match is pretty even-steven. Can't understand why people are trashing Bouchard; she looks like a good player to me, if somewhat generic. But are we going to start trading break after break here, the favored SEWTA-style way of conducting a match?

Not so impressed with La Bouche's 2nd serve

yep, after a few strong service games from both to start the match, now break x 3. Will not mind going to bed during this one.

Again I want to watch things, but again everything is on at the wrong times. I would like Ferrer to beat Berdych, and STAN to win. Good night.

I know, it stinks. I want Fit Dave to win, too, and I want to watch Stan, which there is no way I can do. Australia really needs to move. It has been proven that continents can move!
So EB looked good for the first few games of that set but then turned into a terrible hidden world error queen. Ivanovic also turned nervy, but less nervy than EB, and that was enough to take the set. Very silly match, and I am off to bed, but I do hope Ana will win this, even if she has some annoying mannerisms. And what's with that ad where she's looking in a mirror??

Why is Berdprych a solid favorite over Fit Dave. What am I missing here. It's not just the time zone, AO mostly puts SEWTA matches on 1st and 2nd, including every 2nd week match being at night which is impossible to watch live for USians. It's the main reason I've watched significantly less the 2 years.

I'm happy with the top half semifinalists. Glad we're rid of BAG. Also, yes why is anyone supporting Berdych?

BAG's back~~~~~~~ I was confused by Berdprych being the favourite but it looks like the results bore that one out. Saw the first few games of Li/Pennetta before falling asleep, heartened to see how well Na is dealing with her draw falling apart. She was clinical. Can't understand why people are trashing Bouchard; she looks like a good player to me, if somewhat generic. That's just it, she's a solid, generic baseliner with shitty FH technique who's the type to hang around the top 20 for her whole career, yet she's getting this overwhelming "FUTURE GREAT!!!!!1111" nonsense plus a ton of Pretty Girl Hypewanking. She'll reach a bunch more QFs and maybe a couple more SFs but I would put money now on her never winning a Slam.

Also, Bouchard's run has prevented Cirstea getting a top 20 ranking. Always a positive somewhere

I'm watching at work. Very, very impressive from Stan right now. Forcing Nole to take more risk than usual, resulting in errors. Can he keep it up for another hour?

Listening to tennis on radio remains one of the most frustrating things ever.
If it was a big football match, that would be totally acceptable to watch openly in the office. But tennis, no way.

The Nole comeback like clockwork. THAT look in his eyes and he breaks from 40-0 down.

Go Boris lol No, actually would like to see poor Stan win for once. But since it's not gonna happen, Novak might as well win it all and shut the Boris haters up.
