Thankfully it starts around 11 am for me, so I definitely am getting up for this. I might be a little late though.

What, two people here already, and the match is hours and hours away! And a POLL!! So exciting, it makes me want to get up in the night to watch it. Or at least get up for the last set or something, just not miss the whole historic moment.
Go Rafa, but be kind to our Stan. Let him win some games so he can hold his head high.

It's on at 3:30 AM here. If Stan can keep him out there till 6:30 or so, which sounds preposterous, maybe I could catch the last point or so, or at least Rafa's speech. But I don't want Lady to accuse me of jinxing Rafa. So I should say maybe if I'm lucky I can catch the speech of "the winner, whoever that may be".

Well Stan is totally dominating now! 5-2 It's all your fault, jinx masters!!

Well, Rafa got to 0-40 on Stan's serve bu playing some greats points, but Stan saved them all with his 2nd serve and now set point.
Yep, 6-3 to Stan

Incredible point by Stan to turn defense into offense, he's playing so well!
0-30 on Rafa's serve

Well, Rafa called for a trainer and left the court. Stan is trying to ask an umpire what's wrong with Rafa, I guess. Some annoyed discussion is going on. Stan keeps on arguing, he's not pleased with the umpire. lol
BTW, the problem is Rafa's back.
LOL, part of the crowd booed Rafa on his return, so now he gets a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Well, Rafa didn't even try to return Stan's serve in that game, so 3-1 and he's trying not to stretch himself, now he's barely serving. So either rafa will magically heal and start running or this will end by retirement. It's still so anticlimactic now, bleh. But I'll remember all the jinxers, including you, janie!

I obviously believe that Rafa is hurting, but even if people think he's faking it to lose all the games, is anyone enjoying it? I remember the argument for Justine to continue was for the crowd, but right now, this is painful.

And Rafa's crying again, Stan to serve for it at 5-2

LOL why is Stan double faulting? Rafa barely returned his serve in this set.
6-3 6-2

LOL, Nadal breaks for 2-0 because Stan decided to make stupid errors on break points in both games.

Oh, look, if Stan actually moves Nadal around, he wins the point!

Must be a great feeling that his decision to impregnate his wife and then leaving her to focus on tennis turned out the way it just did...

I knew he left his wife, but had no idea he did to focus on his tennis! WTF?? I thought they just split, so I was shocked to hear the reason just now. Wow!

When I saw the score, I thought- oh, I should have gotten up for this. Sounds like it wasn't all that good, though. It's okay that I slept.

When I saw the score, I thought- oh, I should have gotten up for this. Sounds like it wasn't all that good, though. It's okay that I slept. There was no atmosphere after Rafa got injured. It was switching between different level of sadness, one moment you feel sad that Rafa can't really move or serve/return, the next moment you're sad for Stan cause he can't capitalize on Rafa's situation.

Obviously we had all chosen STAN as our next non Rafa/Fed/Djo/Mur/DelPony slam winner. Well done, all of you.
