I never thought a guy who once put himself out for months by running headfirst into a netpost would have what it takes to reach the top of the game but hey ... Blake is looking pretty good lately. Chang nearly the same thing. Except he turned in time and busted his hip. Poor fast guys.

Yay, Gonzo.
I thought Kournia would be out of the Top 10, by now. I assume Rome finally ends it for him.

But, Kournia is FINALLY out... so, the Top 10 gains merit. If by "merit," you mean "a hot ass," then yes. Robredo is many things ( ) but I'm not sure about being him being the tenth-best tennis player in the world. But I guess he didn't buy his points at MusterMart, so...whatever works

I'd say it's deserved, though. He's been a Top 10 in 3 of the 4 slams. That's good enough.

Fat Dave says, "It's my turn to be #3 this week, Ivan!" 1. Roger Federer (SUI) - 7160 points 2. Rafael Nadal (ESP) - 4135 3. David Nalbandian (ARG) - 2845 (+1) 4. Ivan Ljubicic (CRO) - 2665 (-1) 5. Andy Roddick (USA) - 2515 6. Nikolay Davydenko (RUS) - 2495 7. James Blake (USA) - 1910 8 Gaudio, Gaston ARG 9 Gonzalez, Fernando CHI + 1 10 Robredo, Tommy ESP + 2 11 Hewitt, Lleyton AUS + 3 12 Kiefer, Nicolas GER + 1 13 Coria, Guillermo ARG - 4 14 Johansson, Thomas SWE + 3 15 Ancic, Mario CRO + 4 16 Nieminen, Jarkko FIN + 4 17 Ginepri, Robby USA + 1 18 Stepanek, Radek CZE - 2 19 Ferrer, David ESP -8 20 Baghdatis, Marcos CYP + 2 ... 23. Andre Agassi (USA) - 1335 (-8) ... 37. Kristof Vliegen (BEL) - 868 (+13) ... 181 Ouahab, Lamine + 89 ;D Little Oli gained only one spot to #29. The reason so many people went up without playing is that Roma points came off, so the likes of Fit Dave, Coria and Agassi suffer.

And by not playing Rome... he gains another 20 points, and probably moves up another few places!

Jan Hajek has won three challengers this year and defeated the likes of Tomas BERDYCH, Dominik HRBATY, Raemon SLUITER, Ramon DELGADO, Potito STARACE, Alex BOGDANOVIC, Andy Murray's big brother Jamie.
He's not that young, 23yo.
As a junior he had a win over Andrea AGAZZI.
