I watched some of the Newport coverage this weekend, and was stunned to learn that the Gimme-Poo final was only last year! Doesn't that feel like something from like '99 or so?

Hewitt has hired Rochey. Rochey believes Chip can still win Slams. I don't agree, but I'm interested to know who Chip will scream and curse at now, since I don't think he'll be trying that on with Rochey. Maybe his Mommy can fill that role now!

Djokovic moves to 3.
And after US Open, he should have a hefty lead over #4.
Also, and not much has been made about this... Nadal has a 110 point lead over Federer in the race standings. He has a realistic shot of "backing in" the #1 spot at year's end if Roger doesn't win the Open.

And even if not then...after the AO, where he has nothing to defend.

Holy crap, Canas is at 14?! In less than a year he's gone from unranked to top 15. What a great comeback from roids! If he stays consistent he'll have an outside shot at the Masters Cup. lol.

Rafa is still #1 in the race by 11 points... which is mostly because Roger's played 1 non-GS or MS tourney with Dubai. We may see a lot of Roger this fall. Ivo up to #30! By my calculations, which are usually wrong.
