Justine and Amelie in the finals?
Rafa in the finals?
I think that I created this Wimbledon from fantasy. We will know it's a dream if Rafa actually wins.

I think I'm hoping JHH wins, because I don't like Amelies hair, but on the downside she'll have more slams than Martina.
Its not really about hyphens or periods, its consistency of formatting I require.

Say, Brinyi (or anyone else), who is carrying this match in Canada and when? Here it looks like I have to watch NBC in just under one hour.

NBC at 9 et. That's like 6 on the west coast isn't it? you're up early I can't believe Mary Carillo used to be a decent commentator, now half the time it's hard to tell if she's even in the booth and when she talks she just either steals the mediaguide quotes from Robinson's crib sheet or goes on about retarded garbage like running up the clock or how things used to be in the good old days or how all chinese players are like russians. Pammy's a bitch but she sticks to analyzing the match being played most of the time and that's pretty rare nowadays.

the way carillo's talking, you'd think Justine was the poor man's Amelie

Yeah, where is McEnroe? I don't really pay attention to what commentators say, but I like Mary.
Excellent first set for JHH. There is an obvious gap of talent between both player, in my opinion. On grass at least.

she's holding her nerve but the quality from both players has dropped

JHH is playing like crap, but it often happens with her in second sets. It's only a break, and with Mauresmo I'm sure she's still confident she can win the set.

Mary was still okay in my book until she suggested that Venus should get the #1 seed. Pam is by far the best one out there on the American networks. She makes some catty comments, but most of the time I agree with what she's saying, and she's the only one with the balls to say it.

Hehe.
Mauresmo wins. She was serving very well at the end of the match, though Justine wasn't playing very well.

Amelie's great serving in the 3rd was amazing. Great serving in the women's game? I'll be damned.
I'm probably showing favoritism here... but the conditions were perfectly suited for Amelie against Justine's bashing, and if Justine doesn't make an error on that MP where Amelie was choking en masse, it gets ugly.
Not sold on Amelie being the #1 player yet... but, she is.
