Fed can stick those backhand "returns" up his ***. Seriously. That attempted slice return off the second serve was ugh.

Federer seems to wait until too late in Janko's service games to step in and be aggressive. Like those forehands at 40-0 and backhand at 40-30... maybe it's not too late in this game? OMG deuce.

Finally. Three great points from Fed to get back to deuce. And by great, I mean playing more assertively.

Fed's BP conversion is terrible. Although, props to Tips for an awesome point.
And it's BP again.

Awwwww no I don't want that to be the end. Tipsy has fought so hard. Makeable backhand volley.

What a bold second serve but Tips got it back! 0-15, buckle up?
Challenge - nope. 15-15
Backhand winner, 1/2 punch. 30-15
Will he drop to his knees?
Drop volley. 40-15
He's gonna ace... no. OH! That was an Amelie-esque mishit. 40-30
Service winner. Done.

Yay.
Poor Janko. But Fed needs to win for Nadal no No.1.

What a relief. I didn't realize I wanted Fed to win so badly. And now for Venus-Sania.

Lol, Pmac and Mary Carillo joking about having to cover Monaco-Berdych at the same time.
Berdych sucks and hasn't improved since Paris 2005 at all. Monaco up a set. Cilic may be a better version of Berdych. Tomas may be forgotten.

OMG can't believe Radwanska's serve on match point. How did that get the job done, lol? Chris Fowler an idiot and said this is Radwanska's breakthrough Grand Slam. To be fair, he doesn't cover the USO cuz it's not on ESPN, but still that's just an uninformed comment.

I like Venus. They asked her if she wanted to play on Vodafone. And she said (approx.), "Hell no, you just want to start Hewitt's match earlier because he's Australian; us girls deserve to be on RLA too."

Great points in that game from Mirza! She's looking like she wants an upset. And so do I.
Not to jinx anything, but these are the kind of matches Venus tends to lose. Also, I remember 2006 Wimbledon when she was defending champion, and she got put on Court 2 against Jankovic, everyone expecting an easy day at the office. Everyone watching Murray vs. Roddick upset on Centre Court. Then she went down. This time she is on the main court, but everyone still talking about Roddick going down, and Federer's classic, and hewitt coming up. She's an afterthought.
GREAT forehands again! That's the way to consolidate a break. A lot of gals should take note.

Berdych wins erd set tiebreak 7-5, so it's 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 right now. I wonder how much those guys knew about RLA drama with Fed? There must have been highlights or updates on the big screen. Or at least some chatter among the crowd that would be audible. That's gotta mess with your head if you're Tomas or Juan.
Mirza dictating totally so far.
