hi Mishar, btw! I was going to comment on some of those results, but i find they've all slippped my mind, except for hopeless Marois, who will never, ever be queen.

Wow Briny you are a man of action. Hegel would be proud! What's the URL? Hi Janie! Melanie is pathetic. I saw that documentary which included her on the tennis channel last year so I feel sad when I think about her. She's like one of those TV talent show contestants who totally bomb out.

I love it! A blog is born! ;D
It even has RSS feed so I can check the headlines on my toolbar.. cool.
If you keep it going, I'll start an underground publicity campaign!

I highly recommend the internet browswer "Firefox". You can download it from www.mozilla.org. Besides being speedy and eliminating popups automatically, it has the cool feature of "live" bookmarks so that I can point my browswer at my toolbar and read a pop-down list of headlines. So for example I have BBC news, NY Times, Yahoo sports tennis, and Mr. Ed! It automatically updates as the headlines change. So I can check quickly if you've added a new entry and only visit when you have, or I can pick out the article I want to read. You're a natural already. Maybe I'll go leave a comment! Btw, Sania d. Obziler 7-6 in the third! ;D

"Anne Smith's comeback attempt hit another bump Wednesday. The 45-year old American dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision to Canada's Stephanie Dubois in the opening round of play Wednesday at the $75,000 Dow Corning Women's Tennis Classic at the Midland Community Tennis Center. "

I'll bet she looked pretty hot! Some interesting names in the Montechoro (Portugal) $10K: GOJNEA Madalina (ROM), NICULESCU Gabriela (ROM), MARAMA Paula (NZL) And in Blenheim we have Marina Erakovic and Fiddler Kobak, both through to the 2R -- Erakovic will play Szili. Okay... Montechoro 1R: Gojnea lost to BARROIS Kristina GER Niculescu lost to compatriot BUZARNESCU Mihaela (16yo and world #21 jr), 46 76(3) 63 P.Marama lost to PANOVA Olga RUS, 75 63 That tournament is a write-off. In Blenheim, Szili got her revenge over Erakovic, 2-6 6-3 6-3.

Elise Tamaela's journal entry for Feb. 8
Groetjes Elise *** The Babelfish version Tournament diagram At last again update of my site, sorry that I as long as on me have let wait. My last mail was during the LSI masters in Rotterdam. Afterwards, by the end of December, I have gone to Australie, for two preparation tournaments and afterwards the qualificatie of the Australian open. I have played these weeks reasonable well, I felt myself as the weeks progressed always improve in form. Unfortunately I lost the last round of the qualification on the Australian. My first two games played I very strong, but the last game against the American Haynes has I nevertheless to what tries let slip. Unfortunately, but I felt that I there really near zat. The past two weeks I have played two tournaments in Italie, the first yielded I lost of as a first the placed Strycova in three sets. I played terrible good, but in the second set my first service let know it a beetje, as a result of which I that set lost and later also the third set. To be fed up! These yielded I lost in the first round of a rather unknown little girl, rapidly forget... what was that a dragon of a game!! I blow! Wait, I didn't say that, Brinyi did. Tries coming week I play the qualificaties of Wta-toernooi in Antwerp, this moment stand I still 5 from the kwallie, but I think that I by that time, however, doorschuif to the qualificatietoernooi. Afterwards I will train two weeks and vervolgens fly we to America and Mexico where I three Itf-toernooien will play (Orange, San luis Potosi, Poza Rica) and perhaps still kwallie for two Wta-toernooien (Amelia Island and Miami), could I be allowed. This is about a beetje my diagram for the coming two months!! Groetjes Elise

"Actually I was happy with the way I played. She's a very good player. I was able to hang in there with her. I let down a little bit in the second set. My backhand quit having the sting on it, so she was able to run around it to her forehand and crack it." -- A. Smith "I didn't play my game in the first set. She didn't impress me. I relaxed and played my game in the second set, and I could have won it 6-0." -- S. Dubois

What on Earth has happened to Granville anyway? She's really not been giving it the ol' college try lately. Midland quarters: Granville def. Dubois 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 Odd -- CP says Steph is returning to Montreal on the w/e, but the WTA says she is in the Memphis qualie draw.

I'm not sure what's bitten Nika lately, but she is rampant, having won Redbridge last week. She is 19yo out of Zagreb. She was never all that as a jr (career high rank of 17).
