Janie...you do know that Adam Scott is 31, right?

WHAT?? Why did I think he was 42 the whole time? I did think he looked pretty young for 42. And danged good-looking. I am always going to root for him, but will never watch his Sundays.

Yeahhhh I noticed a couple of things that made me think that...and then that "Els also" clinched it.
Seriously...he would be the hottest 42-year-old in history and would need to be studied.

Actually he turned 32 last week...so you're only off by a decade, as opposed to by over a decade.

There, I've modified my most ridiculous post about his imaginary age. Anyway it does seem probable that he will reach 42 with no Majors!

All of Tigre's ladies are streaming in Adam's direction as we speak ...

I think Tigre and Adam hate each other now with their goon caddy shenanigans.

Only golf could produce such anti-climaxes as one guy winning without even being on the course/field. They said Els was at the putting green - hell no! He was probably at the clubhouse bar!

Just when the worldwide excitement over Inbee Park is starting to die down (kidding), it's time for another Major, on the men's side this time. One Adam Scott, One Adam Scott ... [old tv show reference, sorry]

An old geezer is going to win this. It's the perfect setup for it. Sigh.

I wish! But they can't do the whole 4 rounds. We've seen it over and over.
Meanwhile, remember Rory? He was supposed to be good, right? Now he's wondering why he's turned into a zombie:
Describing himself as "brain-dead," a dejected Rory McIlroy lamented a round of 79 – a score that tied Nick Faldo, the man who leveled the latest piece of criticism at the start of the week.
"I mean, I don't know what you can do," he said. "You've just got to try and play your way out of it. But it's nothing to do with technique. It's all mental out there. And then I just need to concentrate, obviously. But sometimes I feel like I'm walking around out there and I'm unconscious. I just need to try to think more. I'm trying to focus and trying to concentrate. But, yeah, I can't really fathom it at the minute, and it's hard to stand up here and tell you guys what's really wrong."
"Seriously, I feel like I've been walking around out there like that for the last couple of months. I'm trying to get out of it. I just don't quite know why."

O'Meara is 56! When did that happen.
There is a Roberto Cabrera Bello or something roaming around who is guapo.

O'Meara hit a 78 today. Such are the ways of the geezer. I watched a little yesterday but kept falling asleep. I did see O'Meara's eagle, though. Glad he had his moment in the sun. Now back to the senior tour. How the heck does poor old David Duval still manage to get into these elite tournaments?

By the way, if anyone is attracted to Adam Scott and wishes they weren't, just watch him putt with that belly putter and it all goes up in smoke. So unmanly! Just embarrassing. I'm so glad the golf chiefs are putting an end to this putting (How does anyone ever learn English!)

Be warned: signs look ominous for an end to the wonderful Tiger No Majors period. Very ominous.

It's worse, Tigre will win.
Duval's in the British for life because he won and is under 60, like the other geezers. The other slams, he occasionally qualifies.

Oh, okay. I did wonder if DD was a former champion here, but it seems so unreal, like Ivanovic having won a Slam seems unreal.
I think the only hope for Tiger not to win is for him to choke like a Greg Norman or a Van de Velde on Sunday. We just have to hope his mentality of steel is not what it once was.

Thanks! I thought Leena would say that and she didn't, so I became more convinced than ever that he will win. I want to hope that his stupid major-title drought will continue. Anyway, I have company again, so I won't be watching today, maybe some tomorrow if things are going some way I like.

Wow! I'm so sorry I missed all those birdies. And the ESPN3 feed didn't show the trophy ceremony! I'm so happy for Phil, what a great feeling after all his 2nd-place finishes at the US open, I honestly thought the guy was finished. So glad that I like him, even if I'm all alone. Well done, Phil.
