That course is a fucking dump. Like even worse than the usual courses they play.

Its a links course. Thats real golf, not your American Capability Brown Teletubbyland nonsense with its cute little bridges and water features.

Links courses don't need to be all dead grass and hideous features.
I prefer the way links courses play, but this course blows. At least St. Andrews looks respectable.

Tiger is gonna win. And probably play like shit doing it, relying on his super lucky 2nd round. Oh well.

Dear Sergio,
Let's finally get to 1.
Never mind, you'll wilt playing with Tigre.
Love,
Hurley

Like that wasn't predictable with Sergio.
He's getting into the "lost cause" stage now.
And Villegas is hotter anyway.

Garcia was never that hot anyways. If it wasn't for the fact that he's a golfer and thus being average looking puts him in the top 1% of all golfers, nobody would notice him

True.
And Sergio is a really small guy, too. Doesn't really seem that way on TV.

Dear Sergio, Let's finally get to 1. Never mind, you'll wilt playing with Tigre. Love, Hurley Mmm. Deja vu. Though this time Tigre is pretty far back. But I guess Sergio has an entire back nine to fuck up before we start putting him into the final group.

Come on, Sergio. I haven't put it on the tv; I hate watching guys choke. But that might not happen till tomorrow. So maybe I just don't have it on because I don't care about golf much.

Well, I'm at work, so I'm just watching the scoreboard. But I will be watching tomorrow! Looks like Sergio will go into the final round with a three-shot lead over his pairing partner, Steve Stricker, who shot the round of the tournament so far with a 64 today.

How will Sergio fuck this up. Not if, but how.

Ugh.
Now I'm going to have to watch tomorrow to see how he blows it.

He says he's "just going to go out and play his game". The golfers must study from the same media playbook as tennis players do!

So Sergio has already fallen back 2 shots. At least Tigre hasn't made a huge charge.

Well...he choked, but came back. But then muffed that last putt.
Hey, Sergio or Padraig, I have no complaints either way. Both two of my favorites. But my heart will break for Sergio if he can't close this out wire-to-wire. Any other time, I'd be behind Paddy, but today...

Padraig But Sergio, Sergio, Sergio...will it ever happen?

Post by The Chloe on Jul 22, 2007 13:42:53 GMT -5
He lost it on the first playoff hole. Pity. Oh well.
Would have been nice if he had made that last putt, but nothing was really falling his way. Blah.

Putter deserted him again. Shocking.
Why must all cute golfers blow? Losers.
Porry winning is very good, though. I just hate trying to understand his language.
