Tigre shoots a 77 and is already done.
Stricker shoots a 63 and is perilously close to a Rory Wozniacka runaway.

Hopefully he'll shoot 79 tomorrow.

If something's wrong with Rory's wrist, he should quit, not drag the injury on and make it worse like Wie.

Rory walking around with his wrist held out, ice wrapped around it. Skysports commentators are concerned and say he should "make a decision".

Back when Tiger was God, apparently he and he alone was allowed to skip post-round interviews if he had a poor round. I'm wondering if that Tiger Exception still exists now that (game-wise, anyway) he's just another golfer, because they sure haven't shown any interview with him on this network, though they're showing clips of other guys who've finished. Maybe he was allowed to stomp off unaccosted. Meanwhile at the rate Rory's ice-pack is growing, by the end of the round he's going to be wrapped up from head to toe like Meredith McGrath in her Wimby SF.

"Dangerous time for Rory" -- skysports. Then they showed us a little video montage of his ups & downs this year. The trainer came out! Have never seen that in golf. "It's not looking good." -- skysports Apparently Rory swung hard at a ball on a tree root.

Tiger is still treated as God by the golf media, and probably always will be.

Yeah I'm sure Tigre was allowed to skip out if he had his druthers.

Tiger is still treated as God by the golf media, and probably always will be. And by the golf tournaments, too. Oh, well. Rory keeping on, obviously. Now we learn that a physical therapist is coming out, and all this is allowed. "10 or 15 minutes" is allowed, but it doesn't sound at all like this is carved in stone. In other words, Joe Shmoe will be limited to 10 minutes of treatment, Tigre could have 40.

My favorite mummy job was Pat Cash at 96 USO. He was getting massaged from shoulder to ankle every changeover and the announcers couldn't stop using their serious voices. My favorite Open. Those post-Matsuoka years were rampant with wussy cheating. Anyway, this leaderboard is not looking good. Stricker, Kelly, Verplank, Love... old USians, boring.

I love watching this on Sky. It's all Rory, all the time. Very refreshing after decades of all striped jungle mammal.

Stricker losing a little ground early, I wonder if today we'll end up with -4 as the top score. Am not watching today, though.

Adam -3 today after 10, Stricker even today after 5. Stricker's lead is 3, I want his lead at least down to 2 by the end of the day. Tigre

Ugh, go away, Scott Verplank. You too, D.A. Points. This isn't the 3rd Annual Piggly Wiggly-Century 21 Open on the Nationwide Tour.

Yeah, who the heck is Points? Tigre +11. This makes me so happy. If I were still Catholic I would have to go to confession about this joy over another person's woes. I wonder why no one speculates in print or on the air about the affect of the lack of constant bimbo nooky on Tiger's game? I would think that's a very plausible explanation for his Larcher de Brito-like fall. What does he do in his tournament off-hours now? Whatever it is has to be a HUGE change from what he used to do before.

Nice bogey-bogey finish, Orlando. Now we're pretty much guaranteed a Nationwide winner.

Tag Heuer dumped Tiger.
The weekend could be interesting if someone would play with a lot of guts and win, like Vosko did over Shrieka (aside from some wobbly moments near the end). It will not be fun if guys choke away leads or play super-conservatively to maintain a narrow lead.
So basically, I'm more interested in how someone wins this thing than in who does it.

Vijay was still good until about 2008. He is a geezer now, at 48. I've always liked him. Works hard, comes across a mean old jerk, hates Tigre and Hefty. So, the Annika comment was maybe too mean, but he was pretty much right.

This leaderboard is ridiculous.
Why do golfers have the best names, by the way?
I think Stevie Williams will win.
