I just hope Marion wins more than 4 games. Nothing good will come of that match.
Rafa still wasn't moving well vs. Snotso... but, I don't think Tsonga is capable of beating him. Even though he had a good grass season. I think Fit Dave is playing well enough to beat a hobbled Rafa... however, Fit/Fat will play for 5+ hours, fatigue ensues, fin.
If Ana wants to be taken seriously as a top player, she should finally win a match like this. And, no, beating Shriekapova blowing on clay does not count. I'm not optimistic. Well, I'd like both players to lose, and give Jankovic a walkover to the SF.
Justine vs. a struggling Dinara... this should be 2 quick sets.
Nole/Del Potro... I have no idea what to expect, especially since Nole may be fatigued. That should be an enjoyable encounter.
Go Chatschreiber. And Stan the Man.

If Ana wants to be taken seriously as a top player, she should finally win a match like this. Agreed...another one-sided loss a la Wimbledon would be horrid. But it's likely. Bartoli probably has more chance against Silliams. One of Ginepri/Stan/Chela/Ljubicic will be in the QF! That will be...not very interesting at all.

Ana will be visibly nervous. She'll serve at less than 40%. Her ball toss will be all over the place. She will be easily broken. She'll try to compensate by being even more aggressive than usual and going for big forehand all the time. And she'll make dozens of UEs. Venus will suck at some points and allow Ana to win some games but in the end she wins 6-2 6-3. I just can't see a different scenario.

Sheesh, Serena came out playing like she was drugged! Marion should have been inspired by Serena's seeming inability to move, but as soon as Serena broke back in the first set, it was clear the match was over. It was like Bartoli somehow absorbed Serena's lassitude, and Serena was able to use her amazing serve to wake up slowly, to get her feet moving, and did not have to pay any price for her sluggish start. As usual! Very disappointing from Marion; I was hoping she could keep Serena out there longer. I'm just glad I had to leave and was unable to watch it unroll.
