Why doesn't USA come right out and say that Davydenko sucks. Do it. Myskina got this treatment, too... prove 'em wrong by winning a slam, Nikki.

It's a big night of tennis at the U.S. Open tonight. I think Jelena Jankovic wil upset Venus Williams in 3 sets and in a shocker Andy Roddick will upset Roger Federer in 5 sets behind a raucous home crowd! ;D

I'm not saying anything, because her serve is still terrible, and could easily lose 12 straight games at any point.
How is Federer/Roddick a "blockbuster"?
Why does the media always want Roddick to do well?

I'm not saying anything, because her serve is still terrible, and could easily lose 12 straight games at any point. How is Federer/Roddick a "blockbuster"? Why does the media always want Roddick to do well? It's a blockbuster because it's the U.S. Open in New York and because Roddick beat Federer in a great match in Canada in 2003. ;D And the media wants Roddick to do well because it's better for tennis if the top American is an elite player. That adds interest for the sport of tennis in America.
