"3-2 - Another error by the Russian earns Peer the first BREAK POINT of the match, and the "GO PEER!" "GO SAHAR!" chants start up. Chakvetadze sends another error long, her ninth unforced error in just five games, and we have an opening break for the Israeli."

Anna! Anna! Anna!
I love her new serve motion.
She really is the KING KOLYA of women's tennis. Except she's a lot more pissy. Every single point is either C'MON/random Russian cheer or she talks to herself, and makes ugly faces.
She looks so innocent and demure, too.
I love QUEEN ANNA.

64 61 Chak... If I am not mistaken Peer won just one game after failing to cash in on double break point at 4-4. I was thinking the same thing about the pattern of close first set and meek faltering.

I've see Anna play before, but something about today's match just blew me away. Damn. She's so cute and innocent-looking. She's literally a doll. Wow. So, I add Wawrinka and Chakvetadze to my collection of Hingis and Seles? I'm really into Szavay [have kept an eye on her in the odd tournament] but don't want to commit to making her a FAV just yet. First GS SF.

Yes I mean that Anna. ;D But it is surprising that Kournikova has a television commercial playing at this years U.S. Open since she hasn't played on the WTA Tour in over 4 years. She is not relevant in tennis anymore. But K-Swiss bought the airtime which is why the commerical is being broadast and that want Anna's image to bump their sales.

Chak v Sweater! I have no idea who will win that. Chak, I hope.
Thought Szavay would put up a better fight...it's not implausible that this could be one of Sweater's biennial runs of brilliance on US hardcourts wherein she slaughters all before her.
