It actually took me a while to remember that Demented made it to the final here. And I always forget that Sweata has won a Slam.

I never remember that Vee was a finalist here. Of course -- during THE SERENA SLAM! And people gave Justine shit for beating up on Kim for her first three Slam titles. Serena pwned Venus 4 times in a row!

The only thing I remember about that match is that Vee took pictures of lil' sis afterwards.

Who is Odesnik, and why have I never heard of him?
Oh, he just got broken. Bye.

Odesnik is a lefty USian who has a game that's best on clay with his long strokes and defensive style. And he totally choked away the Houston title this year.

The only thing I remember about that match is that Vee took pictures of lil' sis afterwards. At the time I remember thinking that Venus only lost because she felt sorry for her little sister and her Slam drought. Which is to say, I still blame Venus for the Serena Slam.

I once saw him beat Pim-Pim at IW (I think WO was still a teenager then) and am a little surprised he hasn't become a fixture on tour by now. He's quite talented and a lefty.

The Igor Andreev RUS (27) vs Potito Starace ITA winner might make the QF. Who knew ginepri would come through that secion. No way Murray sees the R16, either Chucho or Fathead will take him out. Woohoo. Isner to whup Nadal in the R16. ;D Rafa got lucky and avoided that fate!

Chardy beating Tursunov. It's amazing how many talented players from France show up at RG each year.
It's also amazing how many of them overperform there. Well actually that's what you would expect. It's only amazing to someone coming from Germany because all German players since Becker/Stich underperform on home soil. We are ae strange country.

Nice to see the Schwankster rebounding from a horrific start.

And takes the 3-1 TB lead with another drop shot!
I'm so excited to see him finally. He's not disappointing -- reminds me a bit of Chucho or Gorila game-wise. Maybe more Chucho.
4-2 in the 4th set TB.
