Because Penis never stops play or questions a call ever. And Flavia knows that she better get this finished while she can.

Pennetta might easily complete the de-Williamsing of this Slam here. Good call! I thought they'd stop, Flavia would fret and stew all night, and Vee would easily bounce back in the AM. Well done, Flavia!

If Jankovic is EVER going to win a slam, she must do it now.

It is kinda ironic that both Williamses lose on the same day and I don't see a single point of their matches. Oh well.
I predict that the women's final will be the most craptastic match ever seen. If I'm wrong, yay!

I thought you were addressing the last remark, about Venus losing "four in a row" to Serena, to your remark about Justine beating Kim for her first three, in which case what I said is an acceptable correction. Justine's first three Slams were non-consecutive too. Fair point. I did forget that not only was it a four-in-a-row pounding, it was a five-out-of-six one as well. If anything, that actually bolsters my point about Justine getting unfair shit for only beating Kim. Correction grudgingly accepted Point bolstered, yes!

what a day though Shrieky's chances of winning keep going up No way can Maria do it. So ... Pennetta vs. Suarez Navarro for a place in the QUARTERFINALS. Weirdly, Flavia's best Slam results have been two 4rs at Wimbledon. This is her first time this far in Paris. She has the chance of a lifetime to make a QF, and hey, maybe more. Not to dismiss the young Suarez Navarro. She's had a good year on the Challenger circuit, and this is clearly her breakthrough event. She might have one more upset in her. If Jankovic survives Cibulkova, and the score right now suggests she will, A-Rad probably won't be a pushover. Srebotnik's win is a shock, but I'm so happy for her. She had made only one 4r at a Slam, and that back in 2002 in Paris. How many 3rs, you ask? Oh, ten. Yes, ten. Eleven third round Slam matches, one victory. Until today when she got her second. Finally. May she beat Patty for her first QF. I really didn't see Cetkovska coming. She's actually amassed a thirteen-match winning streak right now, with wins at the Bucharest 2 and Saint-Gaudens 50ks coming in. Maybe she gives Ana a match?

Maybe she gives Ana a match?Told ya. Bottom half SF Ivanovic annih. Radwanska. Check her draw - the title is hers. And yes, Cibulkova is very pretty. Monfils was in the stands and, accordingly to one of the local commentators, they are dating. Cetkovska is gorgeous too.

Zvonareva-Radwanska final.
Only one USian left in the draw. Robert Ginepri. There had to be some good odds on that one.
