You know... The Wimbledon final was actually good. Probably better than 99% of WTA matches. So I'll watch.
I'll also watch to see if an idiot will scream "Go Williams". And then the crowd will laugh, because ZOMG IT IS SO FUNNY.

It is better for me if Serena loses because I don't like petulant 26-year-old toddlers. ;D I want Serena to beat Venus. Serena has had the better career and is the better player. But Venus is running her down late in their careers and the area she owns Serena in is court coverage.

To be fair they both should have been seeded in the top 4 since women's tennis is so weak without Henin and Sharapova around at this years U.S. Open. With Queen Masha and Mighty Justine missing, Venus Williams and Serena Williams should be co number one seeds, in my opinion. No one knows who Ana Ivanovic or Jelena Jankovic ARE in New York City or the United States, do they? Plus, it would make much more sense from a marketing point of view, for the Women's Tennis Association WTA tour. Yes.

"In the girls' singles CoCo Vandeweghe beat Upper Saddle River 16-year-old Kristie Ahn, 6-3, 6-4, in the second round. Ahn had quite a couple of weeks here, winning three qualifying matches to earn a spot in the main draw, where she lost to Safina.
"Ahn then won her first-round match in the junior's before falling to Vandeweghe Wednesday. She said she was overwhelmed by Vandeweghe's big serve, which she said was better than Safina's."

CoCo Vandeweghe could be the next big thing in American women's tennis. With her size and excellent serving technique CoCo has the potential to have the best serve in women's tennis. Serena broke Venus while Venus was serving for the second set. This is Serena's chance to win this match in straight sets.

Serena did it! But there was no hug only a handshake after the match which surprised me. And LOL @ the lame USTA for ruining another night session for the fans by having to start Nadal/Fish so late tonight. ;D The USTA was stupid enough to start off the day sesion on Ashe stadium with a women's double match. Wow. That needless match on Ashe stadium started another long day session on Ashe stadium that should have been avoided.

I guess Venus doesn't like it when Serena wins. Nadal/Fish will start at about 11:30 pm EST. And I think playing this match late at night and early in the morning when it's cooler outside favors Fish who I think would probably fade in the summer heat against Nadal in a daytime match.
