It's looking more and more likely that Soderling will get to pop Rafa's 5-set cherry at RG. I thought Rafa'd run away with it after eeking out the second set tiebreak. Not really.

Uhhhhhh what? To Soderling???I'm not quite sure if I'm imagining this or its really happening. This is way more bizzare than Cake beating Justine at Wimbledon.

Ivanovic ended up doing worse in her title defense than Iva Majoli. Wow.

Something about Rafa's lengendary run at RG coming to an end at the hands of Soderling would be quite disappointing. I wasn't expecting Federer to ever do it, but still. I had hopes of something slightly more awesome.

And now I can't go to bed. I'm not sure who I"m mad at. Rafa or Soderling? Damn them both and their stupid match.

What is the deal with Nadal and Soderling not liking each other or something? What the incident? There was a match and Soderling acted like a tool and Nadal whined, making them both annoying? Something? Rafa was constantly stalling like usual, I think he was even warned for it in that match. And this match went over 3 days so they were probably ornery. Sod went for a racket change at 2-2... Rafa got pissy and stalled some more after, mockingly saying "new balls" after like 20 seconds, then Sod did his thing. Sod gets the blame for being a jerk, which is unfair. Rafa can be a primadonna bitch. A lot. Same with the Berdych thing.

I had hopes of something slightly more awesome. And with Djokovic losing yesterday, if Rafa loses, the draw will become a complete mess. Federer won't win. Murray won't win. Roddick won't win. Who's left? Tsonga? Verdasco? Del Potro? Ugh. Gross.

Blame Demented. She predicted Rafa wouldn't win. All of this winning seems to have finally caught up to him. You could see it, but...man. You still have to think that he'll make this work, but...man. It would be kind of fitting if it all ended to a relative non-entity like Soderling.

Federer would probably win it, but I wonder if he'd start to freak out if Nadal departs the draw. That could be fun.

Here's the big game. Soderling up 2 sets to 1 and serving at 4-5. 0-15.

Meanwhile, Mattek and Petrova have taken out the W. sisters in the dubs. God only knows how they cheated their way to this victory, but congrats to them -- and yet another reason to stay away from GM @ wtaworld for a few weeks ...

I really want to see that match live! A historic match and America cannot see it live. There are only so many times I can wank to Nando.

I was rooting for Soderling initially but I'm behind Rafa now. Does this make any sense?
Oh, and Safina is a spectator as well!
