I randomly decided to enter the university tennis tournament and played my opening match today. It was my first time in seven years and I had no expectations. So you can imagine my shock at being up 5-0. But, then I ran out of steam and started feeling fatigued and lost 8 games in a row to lose the match (It was a one set, first to 8 games match). But, I'm happy. I need to work on the stamina and play more regularly. Also, the coach approached me and praised my monster forehand.
Wow, this sounds like a match report for any of the women's matches at this year's US Open.
