Man, I had forgotten just how hilarious 2002 was. I just reviewed the slam winners. Holy shit, that was all in the same year?! ToJo, Costa, Hewitt/ Nalbandian Wimbledon final, over-the-hill Pete at the USO. Jesus. Tennis will never be that ridiculous again.
Sorry, this is way off topic.
I'm having a moment.

I wish I cared about men's tennis in 2001-02. I would have liked to bitch about it. All my whining is on the women's side for years. SECSIST~!
I watched Pete's 02 USO final like a month ago, and it's completely unbelievable that THAT won a slam 7 years ago. He was sooo slow.

Will the Bryan brothers pull out a win in the semi's? They are in the fight of their lives now starting a final set tirbreak. The answer was no. The Bryan brothers lost in a third set tiebreak. I think they are a bit past their primes as a doubles team and I was surprised to learn that as long as they have played professional doubles they have only won 7 grand slam doubles titles. They are Hall of Fame bound for sure but it's debatable as to whether they would go down in tennis history as a great doubles team.
