Do you really think that you're going to miss much? It's the Men's Final. The unofficial end of summer. Final Sunday w/ Week 1 or 2 of the NFL is probably the greatest sporting day of the year. Every final I vividly remember since I was 4. It doesn't matter who is playing, or what happens. And Del Portro is a threat. I doubt he does because it is a bad matchup, but it should be competitive.

I'm seeing a situation here where we could get a similar ending to the 2000 U.S. Open men's final as far as who wins and loses goes. No one saw that result coming in 2000 and no one sees this result coming. But it looks like Del Potro could be ready to be the next great player in men's tennis.

WS easily won the doubles crown, in front of a crowd of dozens. Did you hear the crowd of dozens boo Patrick John McEnroe on court after the match when he kept asking Serena questions about Serena's cursing and threat incident late in her match against Clisters? ;D Good for Patrick for asking the questions and not backing down. The big sister Venus butted in and got Patrick to back off.

Wow. JesusFed is back, better than ever. Physically he's in perfect shape (again?) and he's hitting very clean. First set to Federer 6-3. It was a walk in the park set for him. Del Potro needs to lift his game fats or he will be whipped in straight sets. I wonder if Federer will break Marget Court'ss grand slam record of 24 grand slam singles titles. I really believe he has a chance to do it because the young stars of the ATP Tour don't measure up to Roger and he stays healthy and continues outperforming them. And in Nadal's case he can't make it to the late stages of grand slams as often as Federer does and if he does then there's a good chance he will be beaten in part because of his injuries.
