Heard about Corson. Find it strange and kinda sad for Shayne. I mean, kinda cruel to just let him go like that. And he just sounded very depressed in those statement. Oh well, that's how the business go. I wonder if the Leafs win the Cup, does he get a ring too.
Ya, Elmo's back, I think it's confirmed he'll dressed. In fact, the game is just 15 min away. I won't be watching but good luck to Elmo ;D .

I think if Corson has played a game in playoff and has been with the team in the regular season, he will have a ring if the Leaf win the Cup.

Where's Vera Great job Canucks hang on to win 4-3 and tie the series 3-3. Canucks are great in coming back from 3-1 down to win the series. They did this in 92 vs Winnipeg and 94 vs Calgary. In 94 they went all the way to the finals. GO CANUCKS!

On Cloud Nine ;D ;D ;D What an excellent day, I can't ask for any better than these. First Juanqui and now the Canucks! Were you watching in '94? That was an unbelievable series against the Flames, cos we scored 3 OT goals in the last 3 games to win that. The only player left in our '94 team is Linden, so I wasn't as confident to expect the same result this time around. But now, what can I say. The Blues came back strong, thanks to the ref. for dishing those penalties which is really . I mean, the commentators were complaining too about those calls, which they also think were very weak and bad. But it's over now and we did what we have to do which is to bring the series back to Vancouver.

I think I'm a pretty good luck charm for the Canucks. Sedin scored the tying goal when I turned on the TV ;D ;D ;D The third period short-handed goal made the big differences. Since St. Louis was so strong in the 3rd period, they probably believed they could come back but Linden's goal, I believed quite deflated them. Trevor is such a great player and leader, he should have a Stanley Cup ring like Yzeman or *sigh* how can the name of the great defenseman who finally won the Cup in Colorado escape my mind

Trevor is everything to the Canucks just like SteveY to the Wings. Yesterday, they said that again, the worse thing that Keenan done in Vancouver was to trade Trevor out of town, and the best thing that Burke did is to trade Trevor back. He's every bit of a Canuck, no doubt. I don't think we could have done this (coming back from 1-3) without him, he's the only one in our team who knows what's the deal in Game 7. And what a back breaker that is, his Short-hand goal in just 28 second into the third, he didn't even celebrate, just to tell the team that it's not yet time to celebrate as the job is not completely done until the end buzzer goes.

Thanks Vera, Ray Bourque indeed. this geezer is losing her mind. Now I am a big fan of Linden, I am a sucker of great leader like that (remember my #1 hockey player ). I could not make myself like him in the good old days he was in Vancouver cos the rivalry with Calgary but I admire his talent and leadership even he was really younger at that time.

The Ducks are really quacking! Still unbeatable in playoff and another amazing performance from Jean-Sebastien Giguere! This one really goes the distance to 5th OT to settle the score. Martin Brodeur shut out the Lightning. He's really the rock for New Jersey! Other than Canadian teams, Jersey is the US team I cheer for since Nieuwendyk is there. Good luck to Senators and Canucks tonight!

Mighty Ducks is mighty great ;D . I saw part of the game last nite. As much as I like hockey, it got a little bored when it's into the 8th period . They all looked so very tired. I hope it's not that long tonite, OT is way too nerve-wracking. Go Canucks. Good luck tonite. Hopefully it's not a wild game.

I know I’m completely obsessed with my team, but how can I not. One thing to play against the Wilds is that you don’t want to get behind against them in the 3rd period bcos their defense can completely shut the offense down. So when my team fell behind 1-3 with half the 3rd period gone, I was completed cold and started trying to look for things to distract myself from the game. But then they fought back and tied the game with 1.2 seconds left in regulation to force OT. And they finish the job in OT. I’m a very happy fan right now. ;D ;D ;D
So the score: 4-3 Canucks d. Wilds
All game 1s are finished now: West: Ducks(7) leads Stars(1) 1-0 Canucks(4) leads Wilds(6) 1-0 East: Sens(1) leads Flyers 1-0 Devils(2) leads Lightnings(3) 1-0

This is really amazing, the way they can come back from 1-3 down in 3rd period. And score in OT. The Wilds will be quite demoralize.

I hope they'll get a little down. But I won't count on that, since LeMaire the Stanley Cup coach would know which button to push to fire up his crews. But for sure we will get a great boost of confident. We did what the Avs failed to do, to come back from a Wilds lead and scores more than 3 goals. When we fell behind in 1-3, the commentators mentioned that it would be tough to get a goal from the Wilds, let alone to get 3 to overcome them. But my teams just keep fighting and that's just great to see. What a difference from the first game of last series when we got bagelled 6 times.

Ducks got yet another OT win against the Stars. Who said miracle doesn't happen. The Ducks are flying high right now and is about to shoot the Stars down from the sky ;D ;D ;D. Go Ducks Go.
And no surprise in the East, NJ Devils beat TB Lightnings 3-2. I hope Lightnings can win at home, just to make it more interesting.

Vera Felt like deja vu tonight but unfortunately, Canucks could not get the game tying goal at the dying minute. A bit disappointed at the 2 goals by Wilds in the 3rd period. Both, IMO, were a bit let down of defense by the Canucks (even the 1st one was right after the penalty expired). Now, it's a best of 5 with Wilds having the home advantage Canucks, you can do it!

Thanks Lee. *sigh*, no magic tonite, but they were close though and we got cheated a penalty shot , that guy closed his grove in the crease and I hope Mick McGeouch watched the replay later and felt really bad about missing such an important penalty that cost us a game. Well, I know sometimes your team get lucky and sometimes they get bad lucky, it's evens it out. But I wish we don't have such bad luck at the wrong time. Gosh, that's a total collapse in that 1 min span and I thought to myself: uh oh, here we go again, and we are pushing our luck too far. But that's the Wild and the way they play, they don't have that many opportunities but they know how to capitalize it when they get one. Not Dan's fault but he's not so sharp today, he got totally confused in the 2nd goal. I have a mix feeling right now. It's very upsetting that they lost a homey and there goes the home-court advantage. But it's very encouraging to see them fighting til the bitter end and believe that they could still win it, that they had the Wild on the heel literally down to the last second. Now, moving on to the next one. Wild is one of the best home team and we are one of the best road team. So hopefully we can get one back.

If the Ducks would have won yesterday, they are almost guaranteed to win the Stanley Cup, well statistically speaking. In the past, there's 8 teams that won 7 games in a roll in the playoff, and 7 out of these 8 teams won the Cup. Pretty good odds. What a pity that they couldn't get the game last nite, they really could have, I mean, the tying goal is within reach. Just that the Ducks seems to have slow down a bit in the 3rd, hopefully, it's not their turn to take their opponents too lightly, afterall, the Stars are the #1 seed. And for tonight, hope my team can win this roady back .

Another really tight match and all the games are determined by one goal!
This is the same for Dallas/Duck series.
Also, congratulate Ottawa!

Ducks shut out the Stars . Okay, it's not that shocking, as if there's any doubt which team is getting the job done. Now, we have to start cheering for the Stars , the Ducks is begining to scare me. If my team manages to get past Minny and face the Ducks, my team will be the huge underdog in the next round, bcos in the past, teams that get 6-0 during playoff, 21 out of 22 teams got to the final, Giguerethe Ducks will be almost invincible. In the East, Devils beat Lightning 3-1, I guess the exorcism didn't work .
