Muzza must win nothing. Maybe he and Wozza can start a mixed beach volleyball team or something.

I'm really glad that we didn't make it through this match without somebody putting "Rafa" and "moonballer" in the same sentence together. Or "Rafa" and "Wozniacki." I mean, what? I don't know. Don't encourage me to be a cunt! Anyway, Fed is obviously still the GOAT. Surely we all agree on that at least.

I guess today is the day I discovered that, after years of supporting both of them tactically (Rog needs a RG, Rafa needs a Wimbledon, Rog needs his 15, Rafa needs the career slam)...once there's nothing so huge on the line for either...I do actually like Federer a lot more.

For now.
Anyway KNEE will surely come back soon and then we will have NoleGOAT. Then he will break and we will have DjordjeGOAT with 37 Slams.

The Rafa/Woz comparison (it wasn't even strictly a comparison, but whatever) was a compliment. "They both do this thing really well" is not an insult I want Djokovic to win Wimbledon.

Yes, you do. I'd say that today I discovered that I'm a bit of a tard, but that's not true. I've known that forever and ever. Anyway, this question is for everybody: Does Nadal have 10 slams now, or do we divide his RG titles in half and only count him at 7?

Today is the day I discovered that unless someone is weeping, I don't care about speeches. *click*

After my live stream died, I didn't go looking for speeches either. I forgot that those things happen.

"Supporting tactically" pretty much means I'm behind Hobak and Anduh over both R&R from here on in, incidentally. New blood time! They both need more Slams. Or in Anduh's case...just Slams.

I hate watching these two play. It's always the same. Rafa dominates doing the same shit, JesusFed gets a set or something and starts switching it up (today, drop shots and slices)... but, then he'll make errors and start trying to bash the crosscourt rallies which never, ever works.

High time for Rafa to memorize a speech in French! And, yeah, Nole would have made it competitive, at least put some doubt in Rafa's head. Rafa has no such doubts against Federer, understandably.

They just showed the RG montage for 2011 and I was all indifferent and then they showed simultaneous clips of Sharapova, Murray and CAKE pumping their fists (and shrieking in the first case)

High time for Rafa to memorize a speech in French! THIS sounds like when The Cat hates Asian golfers because they don't speak English. A lot of very interesting things get said when Federer gets pounded. Again.

I'm excited. This slam was pretty great, actually.
Now for Wimbledon, where Serena will return at 200 pounds and not lose a set.

If one Korean player wins one US Major *six times*, then yes, I do think she should be prepare a few lines in English. France has been bery bery good to Rafa, so he could make this small gesture of appreciation. Maybe after his 10th win he'll do it. Lee Na, I read that Serena is in amazing shape! dang

I'm excited. This slam was pretty great, actually. I thought so, too. St. Kim going out early was only a sign of many good things to come. But for me, RG was my first Slam on a big tv, and Wimbledon will be viewed 100% on my laptop, so it's going to have to be unbelievably exciting for it to top this, from my strictly personal POV.

Serena did look in good shape when I saw her say something stupid in an interview. I hope she exposes SEWTA admirably.
The LPGA is much different because it's mostly played where people speak English, with other tours available in Asia. If you want the big bucks, learn to speak English.

What a shot by Nadal. Right off the line after Fed hit a really good backhand return. Saves one bp. Nadal tried to juice a big serve. He must feel he needs to step it up. He did, though. Won that point behind a second serve including a ball that just clipped the back of the line. Ace, Nadal. But you know, that's what we wanted to see. Roger didn't make errors on any of those points. He made Nadal win them. Also, the ace was certainly set up by the fact that Nadal had been living on the serve to the backhand. So when he needs a point, he knows the big serve to the forehand side could well catch Fed leaning. Huge hold for Rafa. That might be crucial. Indeed it was. That seemed like the final nail in the coffin for Fed. Watching on delay has to be my new favourite thing. I saved sooo much time just whizzing through the sets at x30, pausing when it gets to 30-30 or deuce, depending on the stage of the set/match. Anyway, expected result. Congrats to Rafa! Also, I want Murray to win Wimbledon too.

I said this very thing. I thought Roger had learned something since 2008 and would try something different this time. He did once he was already way, way down but by then it was much too late. He seems determined to beat Rafa with his topspin backhand. Unfortunately for him, it seems certain that that is impossible. Roger is now 2-9 against Rafa since 2007. It seems to me that this year was his chance. Tennis is weird, so you never know, but I think if he was ever going to beat Nadal here it was yesterday. It's a shame he got tight serving for the first set. If he had gotten that ... well, it might have been a different match. It didn't help him win in 2006, but the first set was obviously key to the Nadal win yesterday.
