Don't post that. You know that they won't get all those matches played!

Lex, did you really say you think Czink might bother Serena? Czink? I said if Serena's latest incarnation as Zvonareva continues to show up, as she did at the end of the BZS match. Czink pushed her that one time in Stanford, too. I don't think it'll happen, Zheng is the only actual threat in this section...

I could actually have gone today. But I didn't. So it probably won't rain.

Care Bear digging herself slowly but surely out of a hole after getting blown away initially by Makarova shouldn't be remotely surprising, that sort of resilience is her MO now, but I still can't quite wrap my head around her transformation into a top player. That is just not the same woman who lost to Robson here last year.

Oh well, that was nice while it lasted Tsveti failed to squeak out the tight first game when Sharapova was still nervy, and since then Maria has rolled.

My TV choices are Muzza/Karlovic, Ferrer/De Schepper and Ward/Fish? Really?
Time to implement my I Do Not Watch Bug Servers rule.

On which note, kudos to Ale-Alejandro for taking both both Isner AND Mahut in five-set epics

Lucic leads Cake 64 Crazy Can it last? If CAKE goes down, that will make two eighths of the draw blown to smithereens.

Didn't CAKE injure herself badly in Eastbourne and is therefore a non-factor?

Mrs Lucic is playing really well. She's just broken for 4-2...lots of shrieking and fist pumping. She looks like early 90s Mary Pierce reincarnate.

Lucic Keeping her game under control really well. CAKE doesn't look injured.

Oh god, Lucic is one game away now. Petrova is 6-5 in the third against Babos. The WTA is well and truly a crapshoot now. Is Paire a bug server? Is that why Doggirlpileon is losing?

Lucic wins and I'm really happy for her. Sucks it had to be CAKE, though.
