What's happening with St.Kim? I'm stuck with Roger.

And Kim's last (HOPEFULLY) match at Wimbledon is a double-breadstick. Heh.

Peng had 5-3, Kiri got it to 6-6, but now set point for CHN on her serve...

Good! However, since Maria's Career Slam is apparently the greatest achievement in tennis ever (alongside Hantuchova's two IW titles) ... Wow. A lot happened when I went outside to work in the garden. I need to do that more often! Goodbye, Kim. See you at the next Slam. Goodbye, Maria. Why could you not have taken Serena with you? But I suppose we mustn't get greedy.

Lisicki, Keber, Peng/Kirilenko, Radwanska - one of them will be a Wimbledon finalist?

Lisicki, Keber, Peng/Kirilenko, Radwanska - one of them will be a Wimbledon finalist? That's just fabulous. I'd be happy with any of them, as long as they don't go out there and freeze up àla Zvereva in her RG final, or choke down the stretch àla too numerous to mention.

I agree - I'd be happy with any of them except Radwanska who MUST be denied yet again. Lisicki has the game to do the most damage though in the sense that she's the most explosive. Ofcourse she could also serve up a shitstorm like in the SF last year.

I like Lisicki, she has a nice game when it's on. But I thought it was forbidden to like her here. I like her. She's had a lot of bad breaks with those injuries. It's fantastic to see her improving exponentially with each match like this.

Ali said "NID" when Lucic upset Bartoli! He lives in an alternate universe, where Rosol is the most famous player. When did I say NID? I just didn't think it was SUCH A HUGE SHOCK considering Bartoli's injury reports from Eastbourne. Rosol the most famous tennis player? LOL! Janie, has the dementia finally kicked in? Yes, FINALLY! Maybe I got the NID match wrong. I do remember seeing you post NID on a match that seemed very much ID -- not Nadal, though! -- but was too lazy to look it up before posting so I went with this one.

I love how we're all ignoring the epic Youzhny-Istomin match which is probably quite good. I'm watching it! Insofar as this shitty stream permits. It is good. Youzhny went down a break in the fifth, broke his racquet on his shoe (!), immediately broke back, and has played some CLUTCH tennis to save 3 more BPs serving at 4-4...

Wonder what Chris Evert had to say about Maria's loss? I wonder if she'd ever heard of the opponent?

I said Tsveti losing to Masha was NID recently. You may be referring to RG where I thought Zakapolova was ID for Masha and everyone here insisted it was NID.

Wow...Youzhny serving at 5-5, deuce, Istomin hits two consecutive would-be-BH winners that are both juuuuuuust out.
