I love how we're all ignoring the epic Youzhny-Istomin match which is probably quite good. I saw Youzhny win set 3 and bits of set 4. I like Istomin's FH. OmG...Muzza has 3 SPs. YASS! 7-5 Muzza.

My commentators tell me Tsonga hasn't dropped serve at Thr Championships this year. And now Fish has and is serving for the set.

I know Flo is good on grass....but I'll be pretty mad at Gagsquet if he loses.

EWWWWWW, Discount Maha actually won That might have been a fun match to watch, actually. 42 points at the net between the 2 players, as opposed to the usual SEWTA total of 10 or fewer. Good for Kirilenko.

Gassy-Flo - wish I could see some of this! Henri Leconte suggested that Gassy was playing the best tennis of any guy in the first week.

Watching BAG/Azza on resumption. What a horrible match-up for BAG it is - Azza just nullifies her major weapon that usually pulls her through, the serve.

BAG literally just stamped her foot like a five-year-old after Azarenka returned a putative winner and BAG hit the next FH out

Is it bad that I sort of want Serena to crush Kvitty? She's been sooo lucky to advance in slams this year. And if she doesn't, Azza is winning this.

Kvitty will wallop Azza in the SF if she gets by Serena. That is NID.
Unfortunately, I cannot see Petra winning the Serena match. It's too...something.

Kvitty really hasn't been earning her keep. Serena taking her out in her final hurrah wouldn't be so bad. Like when Sampras embarrassed Rodduck in 02. Azza and Aga have been the steadiest players here. Aga could even get world no.1

This is hardly a newsflash but BAG is so mentally weak it's just...ridiculous. Azza is feasting and enjoying herself a lot.

That top half is certainly interesting. Let's start off by saying none of the four players there have reached a Slam final, so someone's getting deflowered.
First, Kerber has never lost to Lisicki in a WTA point match. She is 4-0 since 2007, spanning from Challengers to Premiers. Obviously, they know each other very well outside of those four matches. Also, this is the best surface for Lisicki to get a win. But their years have been so different. I can't see Lisicki turning that H2H in 2012. I severely doubt Kerber will lose.
I also severely doubt A-Rad will lose to Kirilenko as well. First and last of all, Kirilenko is terrible.
So maybe it's not so interesting; however, it could be. But that's kind of a neat-looking set up there in general, even with Kirilenko. Newish names making a mark. We need that to happen to keep the sport running, and I can think of worse players to be consistently in the mix than the Polish Brigade (minus the Danish-Polish Brigade).

Azza and Aga have been the steadiest players here. Aga could even get world no.1 I did say I wanted Petra to make QF here and have a respectable loss. I'm set. I'll take a respectable win though. The next goals I said I wanted would be a medal at Olympics (any color) and I suppose 4R or better at USO. She still has a Top Five finish in her sights. More Slams will come, she just needs to keep her draws comfy.

I can't see Kerber losing either. Maria didn't make Lisicki rally all that much today, and often made errors when rallies did ensure. Kerber has defense on lock and, needless to say, is an infinitely superior clutch player.
I'd also favour Kerber over A-Rad.
