Why the hell do they have to put that match on first? Why the hell. As if I really need to wake my ass up at 5 am. Fuck.

^ pretty simple, really. It gives the VIPs enough time for their three-course lunch before their God starts his match. I am picking Fed and Jo.

Fed and Jo would be the final I predicted 2 weeks ago. I don't think it will happen though. I noticed Brad Gilbert predicted a routine straight set win for Muzza. #jinx

Goooooo JWT.
I don't know who I want to win the other one, that'll probably make itself known during the match. I want JWT to Win It All.
Jo has a real shot vs. Anduh, but I don't trust him not to be stupid. So, picking Djokovic and Murray.

I also pick Nole and Mopey.* Might miss it all again, like today, because janiehub arrived in BCTT yesterday. So I might have Married People things to do like going to Home Depot.
* While wishing haplessly for the exact opposite.

I think ... this may be Fed's last chance to win a major. I think if he does it here, he might win more. If he doesn't ... never again.

Nole and Roger have never played on grass I guess one has to give Fed more of a shot than otherwise because of that. But...not enough?

I am quite excited about today. I think the first match might be pretty great. If Fed could "spoil the party" last year at RG, he can totally do it here. Indoor grass is pretty much his ultimate surface, right? Kinda hoping Jo wins to save us the heartache in the final.

In other news, John Mac is a total idiot. Re: indoor match today "this favours both Federer and Djokovic".
Re: Serena's win yday: "I don't see why she can't win this another 3/4 times and go down as the greatest ever." K.

I'll be rooting for Federer and Murray. Regardless of what happens, I'm hoping the finalist from the bottom half takes it all.
I missed the ladies semifinals yesterday due to work and didn't care. I'm hoping Muzza doesn't put in a shit performance - I don't mind a loss, just don't be passive and annoying.
Djokovic would be a better opponent in the final for Muzza compared to Federer. Thoughts?

First break to Fed. Working the indoors grass advantage.
It's not that great so far.

Federer wins the first set 6-3!

Djokovic gets the break in the second. Federer playing passively on the BP, guiding the FH and getting no depth.

The dreadful way he played the previous return game foreshadowed that break.

You could feel that momentum change coming. Djokovic has truly matured as the #1 player. Losing the first set did not dent his self-belief.

It is nice that this match moves at an accelerated pace, right? They are actually moving through it quickly.

Again, Fed just not getting enough depth on the forehand - it's around the service box area.

That's just weak play from Roger. Has to do more on those 2nd serve returns, else he'll lose.

Roger had a major chance in the second game. Maybe ... he should have broken. Bad point at 15-30 and 30-40 ... he had his chance on that forehand.
This is the key set. Djokovic can rally and win in five. Roger CAN win in five but I think he needs to win this set if he's going to.
