Nice to know the old goat can still win huge titles on the widely-used surfaces of blue clay and indoor grass. Next stop: Gifu Challenger!

Nole being Nole, saving break points left and right. He'll break soon.

If Roger can summon another bp here, he will want to be more aggressive than he was just now.

Djokovic snapped back to life in that game. I sense impending danger.

Sorry for not being up to date with this, but will Roger be No.1 if he wins this tournament?

That was quintessential Novak stuff there to extricate himself from 1-4, 0-40 but Fed's still serving like Serena.

Djokovic snapped back to life in that game. I sense impending danger. Federer has become a choke artist of the highest order in big matches like these lately. That, more than anything else, is why he hasn't won a Slam in ten thousand years. But he's Indoor Beast. I don't think there will be enough to get him all chokey and whiney. I wish Tauzita had a chance to play Indoor Wimbledon.

He'll serve it out Rosol-style. Nole never got used to the different conditions, it looks like.

One more hold. That's what's needed. Please no US Open ridiculousness this time.

It'd be so much better if he broke and didn't have to serve for it.
Oh well.

Thanks. Interesting! I always thought he could get back there one more time, although it seems kinda lucky that it might work out this way here. The rigged draw helped him for once: if Roger had to have beaten Nole in the final instead of the SF, Roger wouldn't have been able to catch him. He'll be #1 by only 75 points.
