She won silver at last years World champs as well, first medal for Tunisian women in T&F at World champs. I have a little crush on her, she's so hot.

Why do the individual apparatus finals come after the all-around final in gymnastics? Kind of seems like if the latter is the grand prize it should also be the grand climax. Both of Gabby Douglas's individual apparatus final performances have been those of a girl who already has THE gold medal.

The nightmare continues for Komova. Started fantastically then fell off and just...gave up, ended up sitting her dismount.

OOOOOHHHHHHHH. Deng kissed Raisman on the podium but there was only a quick and frosty handshake for her own teammate Sui. Maybe a clue to Sui's tears there...?

Sui was not only crying while everyone was still performing, she took off that silver medal a couple of times immediately after the ceremony and was asked to put it back (?) for the pictures. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. She made Komova look positively cheerful However Vika wasn't that sad today after her final fail, she seemed to relax a bit finally.

That final was a horrendous mess. Ponor is my fave gymnast, but she really didn't deserve to medal after a crappy, error-filled routine like that. Although, the way she lost it has to be absolutely heartbreaking. She started second, said good-bye to medal after a performance like that, only to watch gymnast after gymnast fall apart and finish in third place, which eventually gets overturned and she loses the medal. Horrible.
As for Sui Lu, she was the favourite to win, being the reigning World champion and having had the highest score of the competition so far. And she really didn't do much wrong in the final, I thought she was better than Deng.

Kim Jihoon is the most attractive guy for me in gymnastics so far. His prowess on the vault just added to his hotness!

At least now we've seen sulky silver medallists from Russia, USA and China. They're all children obviously.

And she really didn't do much wrong in the final, I thought she was better than Deng. I had no problem with the attitude, really. I love drama. I can't even imagine the disappointment of not winning gold after 4 years of training for just that special moment. Especially if the truly don't like each other much. Men are killing it on the horizontal bar!

Damn, men are making it really hard for the judges by actually nailing their routines.

Insanely good high bar final. 16.2 for Zhang, 16.3 for Zou, 16.4 for Hambuchen, 16.5 for Zonderland, they just kept outdoing each other like it was nothing.

I felt like Zhang was better then Zou, but the silver and gold was absolutely correct!

Oh man I missed it. Will the high bar stuff show up on Youtube?
I don't think I'm sorry I missed the balance beam final after reading comments here.

God dammit Izbasa. That was a certain silver at least. Nice for Cata, managed to redeem herself a bit. Five Olympic medals for her now

Amazing drama in women's volleyball so far, both quarterfinals went to five sets and both had a surprising outcome. Japan beat China and Brazil, having had a very poor tournament until now, beat Russia. Russians cried. Just a couple of minutes later, their women's handball team lost to Korea in QF. They cried too. Lots of tears for Russian ladies in London these days.

I would've teamed up with Kavcic, but he doesn't have a serve so why bother. I'll wait for Bedene to make the Rio Olympics.
Croatia won another gold in what seemed to be frisbee shooting. Awarding medals for that, ugh. This way Croatia wins the Ex-Yugo race rather comfortably.
