For some reason I kept thinking that Slovenia had two gold medals.
The only thing I don't like about high jump are those ties. A bronze for three people, really. Ukhov, bleh. Not too fond of him.

Ukhov was the one competing completely hammered in, was it Zurich or Lausanne?
And the Iranian guy got bumped down to 2nd place
We only have 1 gold and ran out of medal contenders already. All 4 medals for SLO have been won by geezers former Olympic medallists.

Montenegro could claim that shooter based on his last name as well, ha.

The Iranian guy overstepped, too bad, he would have taken the lead.
What's with that Croatian shooter anyway? An Italian born in Slovenia, competes for Croatia, has a surname that means "Montenegrin"? What kind of combination is that?!

Speaking of Montenegro, their gurls are playing against France in handball QF as we speak. Please God, punish them for stealing our players and make them lose.

Northernmost Balkan country of Austria having an athlete in a hurdles final? How did that happen? They have no medals so far at the games.

Is stealing players from you the only way they can get far in the tournaments? I never considered the MNE team any good. Well, three of their best players (including the best female player ever) are from Serbia. Although, women's handball is a lot more popular there than it is here so I can kinda understand their decision, but still.

Sally Pearson's delayed reaction to winning the hurdles made for great TV there. Three high jumpers shared bronze, which means five of the seven finalists got a medal. Not sure I approve even if one of them was a) GBR b) hott. Quite special seeing the Grenada national anthem played for the first time EVER at an Olympics! Lolo Jones wins nothing

Is Bojana Popovic the best player ever? The first name that popped out in my head, so it's probably true.
Radevica made the long jump final! Out of blue considering her results this year.

This Sam Mikulak gymnast needs to be in my bed. You're a week too late, I stuck my tag on him: Sam on the USA team is 19. Having said that, I looked at his Twitter photos. 19 is 19 and that's you know I'll stop here. He is 19, but looks 21, so it's okay. I wholeheartedly approve.

Adam van Koeverden is through to the K1-1000 final. Rowers are great. I pointed that out a week ago.

I Googled that transgender guy too, and he became a really hot guy. But then he named himself after an Orlando Bloom character and I stopped liking him. Seriously - that's how you do gender reassignment. Impressive transformation. Bad name.

You should have teamed up with Qureshi for a doubles medal, Ali! That's a great idea for Rio (and an excuse for me to visit South America!).

World record. Fastest time in an 800m final for EVERY placing - 8th place was half a second faster than the previous fastest 8th place. Every runner posted a PB or SB And Rudisha still took it EASILY
