Not that I'm going to watch right now. Too nice outside and not really enthralled w/ Davis vs Riske. They have split sets.

Torro Flor's 30-match winning streak snapped by...KOSTOVA Beck was a surprising Q1 casualty too, losing to Pavlovic. Garcia, on the other hand, actually won a match for once - 7-5 in the third over Brianti.

Fichman won, too. An ominous sign for Puig's future prospects! Yet another 3-set loss for Rampre .

All the Souszas are too much to handle for my simplistic mind. I'll never be able to tell them apart.
Best of luck to all the tour veterans. Good to see Castano, Coin and Nakamura back in Slam qualies, even if that achievement appears to be underwhelming considering their respective careers.

Odesnik took the first set 61, but Clezar is fighting back, leading 3-2 in the second. Dubois won by bagel in her first set. Kromacheva down 64 41 to Crawford. Mouseburger having her way with Olaru. Dancevic takes the first set vs Gabashvili.

Odesnik won. Cult-fave Alexandra was Kiicked out in Q1. Lots of these alleged future-hope USians are really underperforming here. Samantha Crawford being one exception; tant pis for KodaKrome!

Are you watching James Ward?

I'm watching James Ward launch a ball out of Court 17 after getting broken in the third, yes. (It landed two courts away and stopped play on Court 11.) Also, Sexy Dima!
(I can't seem to find a way to watch the other televised court, though it's Mueller/Garcia Vidagany so I didn't try very hard.)

I presume that's Larcher de Brito I can hear in the background of Mueller/BGV. Ludicrous.

I didn't realise Min was such a basher Winners all over the place in the second set. I liked the little I saw of Cepelova at Wimbledon but she's not really doing anything right now.

Cepelova/Min is really bad now.
Vekic's first ever Slam set = a bagel over Sirotkina. Nice start.
