I want to see her do this to Azza, next.

I thought the final was quite enjoyable. Different styles of play clashing like that is always gonna produce some great tennis.

At least she's winning titles and when she's supposed to - great couple of weeks for Petra in the Middle East. Hope she can sustain this. Or atleast show up more than she did last year.
Also great for Errani, still snubbing her nose at the people refusing to accept her as a top player.

I really like Errani, but she has no business being a top player.

Sure she does. If only because she doesn't lose her mind out there like every other player. Can't get over that she was rushing the net! Or did you guys make that up? And here I thought there were no surprises any more in the upper reaches of the WTA (though the Kvitty revival is obviously even a better surprise ). Now we need Kvitty to knock off Ma$ha, among others. I will get in line with Ma$ha behind Alex's Azza, since he spoke up first.

I did not make that up. She was doing it at least 50% of the points in the second set, and maybe like 40% in the third.

She started serve-and-volleying a ton, too. She was good up there.
She's not a TOP player, obviously, but she totally deserves her spot as a lower-end-of-the-top-10 player (positions held in the past by the likes of Pennetta, Sugiyama, Schnyder). When people say, oh her shitty serve and her defensive game won't cut it against Serena or Maria or Vika, I'm like...so it DOES cut it against ALL BUT THREE PLAYERS? That = top 10 to me.
