LOLOLOLOLOLOL, seconds after she won Vekic tweeted:
Donna Vekic @donnavekic 6h HAVE A BIT OF THAT.
Not a Putintseva fan, I take it.

ha! Fun to have teenagers back again, making teenage noises (not like Kiick's, though!)

Some stuff on TF about how Kiick RTed one of her friends saying Obama supporters should be aborted back in Nov. I'm a fan.

^LOL!
Petra won. Battles through death and pain, to overcome her opponent. And asthma. A true hero.

The tweet actually said that they should get aids, not be retroactively aborted, although it doesn't matter.
Why is Mona so useless?

She probably agrees that Miami is the 5th Slam.

FFS Mona LOL, Servebot Pliskova took a set off Woz. LOL, Gorgeous lost to an opponent outside the top 200 again. LOL, Pavlyuchunkova has really settled into her journeywoman fate - lost to the Rampant White Mug. Venus and Mrs Krumm played another epic - sadly it went Venus's way again

Hampton was leading CSN 75 4-1, and is now about to lose the 2nd set 5-7.

Is Keys our new Kvitova? She just lost to LL-Lauren Davis.

Where is Boreas to update his list of talented youngsters with a line through Keys' name. Seriously, a chance like this with a wide open draw when Azza w/ds and you end up blowing three MPs against (LL) Davis?

The idea behind that list was that it would include sub 18 players who lose to the likes of AMG, LDL, FSG and the rest of old guard players who are usually considered a weaponless cannon fodder.

Davis is quintessential weaponless cannon fodder, even though she's young as well!

Robson lost to Cornet by a scoreline which suggests disaster.
I want Duval to really from a set here and beat a former #1.

LOL @ the Robson scoreline. LOL @ that section being blown wide open and Hampton, Robson and Keys all choking their chances. I hope CSN comes through.

Robson lost to Cornet by a scoreline which suggests disaster. Oh no! I think she was winning when I last checked. I guess she and "Hevs" are going to continue to go through their careers in lockstep, aren't they.

Laura is prepping for a massive RG run/Wimbledon title. No point putting effort into these meaningless HC tournies. God, it would be so embarrassing but also hilarious if Robson and Wat bomb out in R1 of Bimbly. It's going to happen.

Radwanska survives. Ugh. And what is Kvitty doing getting bagelled by Flipkens?

|
|
Post by Grarliner on Mar 23, 2013 16:15:45 GMT -5
Not just bagelled, but defeated by Flipkens. 6-0 4-6 6-1.
Meanwhile,. Muguruza defeated Woz 2 and 4. Comprehensive.
Petko lost to Tomjajdhfjdnfrnovic after bagelling her in set one.
Venus pussed out of her match with Sloane due to fear, obviously. This walkover epidemic is truly brutal.

I seriously doubt Venus is afraid of Slumpin' Sloane; it's way more likely, at her age and in her state of health, that she did hurt her back in her tough first match. But I find Kvitova's loss this early in the tournament to be incredibly deflating, even though I know it's just a typical day for her. Not much fun left for me in Miami as we wind out way toward the inevltable Serena-Maria denouement, blecchh. Oh, well, there's always the Osprey 50K! Qualies start tomorrow.

Lady JaJa into the fourth round without dropping a set. Cornet also in the last 16.
And Cirstea leads Kerber 6-4, 3-0. Insane.
