Wait, I was watching Pironkova-Rad, and you guys are saying Serena LOST?? Are you sure?? Anyway this match has been so fun to watch. Not only no screaming, but no "COME ON"s even! Only a couple of weak fist pumps, even! So old-school. And Radwanska actually CHANGED HER GAME PLAN after going down 0-4 in the first. There are still SEWTA players capable of a Plan B?? Anyway it's very fun, and I love Grassonkova so I'm heading back. But sad for Pweeg.

Hrrm the Grass GOAT FH slice doesn't work quite so well against Aga

It did just strike me that Tsvetana means "Flower Girl", so it makes sense she'd thrive on grass.

Sloane Stephens is gonna win this all, it's obvious now.

Pironkova needs to clean up the draw of all the awfulness left.

Ben Rothenberg @benrothenberg
Asked who she thinks will win #Wimbledon now, Serena picks… Sloane. "She's got a good draw, it'd be really nice to see her win," said Serena

FeVer's run is probably the most underrated. It's easy to mock him generally but Malisse, Benneteau, Gulbis to reach week two is pretty tough. He did get the easiest R4 though.

Does Maria become #1 now, with Serena losing so many points?

While I am thrilled with everything falling apart and CAKE winning so easily, I won't rest in peace until that insufferable Radwanska is out - this title is hers to lose.

Does Maria become #1 now, with Serena losing so many points? No, Serena is still quite a long way ahead.

Murray-Youzhny is becoming an interesting second set. Muzza needs to step up and run away with it - Youzhny's doing well.

TBH what this tournament really needs now is for Djokovic and Murray to lose.

I'd be thrilled with Djokovic and Radwanska losing. Sadly that doesn't appear to be happening.

2 highest seeds left will play each other tomorrow: ARad vs Li Na
I'm still shocked how unbelievable Serena's result is. Vika had w/d, Maria has been sucking on grass for years (although still a shock), Rafa has his knees plus he lost early last year, Roger has been in terrible form all year. But Serena? She usually wins this just on her serve alone. Only Djoko's loss would be more shocking.

But this is grass and everyone left in the draw is prone to imploding. She'll be there to pick up the pieces - this is her best chance and she knows it.

It's so frustrating that Sabine wastes her talent all through the year. She actually has a game to be a slam champion. Sabine never plays like she did today. The brainless bashing, sometimes. But, I've never seen her defend well ever.

Delpo in the QF but no one's keeping an eye on him. I heard a lot of stuff this morning about how he might w/d. That obviously was a false alarm. I've been saying all tournament that Ferrer is subpar and of course you'd think Delpo with his weapons could beat him, but they played here last year and Fit Dave just took Pony apart. Factor in whatever injury this is, I expect similar this time.

Ofcourse, best of five in a Slam is different but I'd imagine that result would do wonders for his belief and confidence.

ESPN mentioned Pony's knee 100 times. That QF could go either way, I maintain that Pony sucks on grass. Plus, Dave surprisingly controls their H2H 6-2.

Muzza is so fucking stupid. What was that nonsense with tapping the ball in play, looking surprised at no call and no challenge? Thankfully he's been bug serving since.

Lisicki, Kanepi, Radwanska, Li, Stephens, Bartoli, Kvitova, Flipkens - one of them is winning Wimbledon. Insane.
