I downloaded Serena/Sabine match, it was so impressive that Sabine didn't fall apart after wasting a Match point and hitting a DF. SETWA script would have her having trouble putting serves in and making unforced errors. Even the match point itself was a fantastic point.
But LOL at Serena's flailing getting to the drop shot in the previous game, and that botched smash.

ajhkhskaks what is wrong with Berdych, two DFs from 30-30 Read this post and assumed Berdych lost. Fun surprise to find out I was wrong! Like today in general. In fact, like this whole beautiful Wimbledon in general. Despite Tommy losing today it's been such a banana-dance Slam.

As if all these upsets weren't enough, how about the fun doubles team of JJ & Lucic suddenly clicking. They're in the QFs, having knocked off (4)Makarova-Vesnina. AND an EGY girl won her r1 match in juniors; that has to be a first.
Fun.

Watched the end of Serena's match after (I got too tired at 0-3 in the third and couldn't stay up any longer). She seemed ... really tight. I wonder why ... She certainly stopped hitting out on her groundstrokes. She was plainly afraid to miss at the end. Not converting 0-40 at 4-3 killed her in this one. If she'd done it, I'm pretty sure she still gets through.
