I can't believe she is going to win Wimbledon and actually fulfill his greatest fantasy. It's almost hilarious.

Cake orgasm on the grass! The Lisicki thing -- it's creepy? It looks like an ordinary teen-fan thing to me. I guess you have to know the context, which I don't. Anyway I expect to be rooting strongly for Sabs, but will be happy as all get-out for Maaaaaaaarion if she wins. But you never know; I might change horses mid-stream. Good luck also to Taylor Townsend.

They showed a bit of TT's match against Konjuh today before the adults unfortunately took over and I confirm she is fat.

I only claim she's the same as before, and not fatter than ever. Also, she won another match 7-5 in the 3rd today, against a tough opponent. For all I know, her lack of fitness is the very thing that prolonged the match in the first place, but it does seem that she's somehow pretty fit, underneath all the extra kilos.

That collage is lacking the obligatory Sabine pic with her looking down with her mouth closed. Her mouth is open in every pic. Mike has a bad teeth fetish.

The funniest thing about the Mike81 collages are how amateur they are. They look like fan art from 2001 done in MS Paint for a Geocities site. His devotion obviously doesn't extend to making them look nice.
I saw a bit of Townsend/Konjuh too, was paying most attention to Nole/Pony but I was really impressed by Konjuh's serve and power - especially for a 15-year-old. Her demeanour seemed calm and composed too, but she did blow the match - Townsend choked for the second set, Konjuh went up 6-5 and had 0-30 on the Townsend serve, then played a dropshit, bashy error and dumped a slice into the bottom of the net.
Townsend's hand-eye coordination is something special - whenever she connected on one of her whippy FHs or her skill and confidence at net, you could easily tell. There was also one point where she was in the forecourt, the point had ended and the ball ended up spinning crazily back to her side of the court (can't remember details) - she just casually caught it one-handed. She looks severely unfit but it didn't seem to hinder her, the match went 7-5 in the third and she a) won b) wasn't really huffing or puffing. Then again most of the points were pretty short. Her movement does sometimes seem slightly flaily/gawky in the way you might expect of a much taller girl. Overall she almost seems like an experiment, especially with the net-rushing.
In the third set I thought Townsend actually backed off the net more but went after that whippy lefty FH a lot sooner in points - Konjuh kept herself in the match mostly with her serve and basic one-two punches but it was her strokes that broke down more and more.
It's been a while since we had multiple juniors with this much potential, I think.

As for the final, I kind of want a short match, because I'm going to a birthday picnic afterwards and it would be nice to get there while there's still sun and heat.

Thanks for the Taylor match report, Alex. I love this part -- "Overall she almost seems like an experiment". I get the impression that anything can happen with this kid; she can so easily go in either direction. It's kind of scary, actually. At least she's not with a bad-dad coach, and I hope she's handled intelligently by the USTA people. They seem to be doing a good job so far; I like that they're still having her play juniors some, rather kill her confidence with more ITF experience than her game and head are ready for.

I think she could do with a bit more ITF experience. She's played seven pro events this year - only two ITFs, but three WTA qualies and two WTA MDs. And come out with only three wins, with the big attention-drawing one at IW coming over Hradecka who can lose to anyone. Not sure why she played Brussels and Edgbaston qualies instead of ITFs.

Well from what think I read this week, they're moving her away from Juniors after this week.

So Taylor was ahead 5-1, and eventually won the set 64. Pretty much what you'd expect from these two, though I wouldn't have been surprised if Bencic had won the set. She's not acting like a brat today, either.
