That was a truly pathetic game Joosteen threw serving for ze match, especially the smash into the net I fancy her chances against Kuzy in the final. The first set Kuzy played against Clijsters was some of the most awful brainless tennis I ever saw (and I like Kuzy quite a lot). Ana has as much power as Kuzy so Joosteen should be fine with it. Kuzy moves better but her mind is like 10 year-old's now. Eeew. Allezzz

A Brainless Kuz vs a Pathetic Justine! It doesn't get any better than this! ;D

I wonder what reaching this final will do for Justine's ranking. Is she Number One yet? She has been number one since Charleston!

She has been number one since Charleston! Oh, good! I thought she should be, but was afraid to look in case I might learn that I was wrong and that Myskina was #1.

Justine has mastered the art of beating the young players. It will be interesting to see if when her game is in full flight again if she can be the best women's tennis player in the world again. She has the most variety, talent and guts of all the WTA players that's for sure.

LOL @ the Berlin draw! Sharapova, JHH, Clijsters, and Kuz -- that is, everyone who has looked good at all in the past couple months -- are all in the top half! The bottom half has bubkes. So, I wonder which nobody will come through that weak-sister bottom half? It's a super opportunity for someone, but what if they all flinch from this scary bit of luck? (Amelie, Natalie, Nadya: yes, this means VOUS!)

It looks to me like it might not be Patty who was dissing, but whoever does her match reports, because Patty is spoken of in the third person.

Did she put her hand out for Justine to shake, and then pull it away? That was her greatest moment. Batty is such a one-of-a-kind nut!

First set to the resurgent Kuz 63. A couple notes from Eurosport give us a clue ...
Henin is being over-powered. She may have won the Charleston title, on green clay, but the sharpness that her many fans remember isn't there today...
... Henin continues to choose the wrong time to come into the net on the back of short approaches...

4-2; don't know if the break affected Justine's concentration, or if the trainer gave "something" to Kuz!
