We're getting Mauresmo vs Baltacha on Eurosport now. That's a very weird choice.

French player. Remember what we got Tuesday.
It's odd how differently Dementieva is treated in standard Tour events and at the Slams in terms of pick of courts and TV time. Trauma because of the 04 RG final?

French player. Remember what we got Tuesday. Indeed. Still, they rarely start their coverage outside the main two courts. And a Mauresmo vs some scrub match is bound to be a disaster. If Mauresmo is cruising, it means the scrub is playing absolute shit. If she's struggling, they're both playing absolute shit.

Still, they rarely start their coverage outside the main two courts. USO 08 puffballing special A-Rad vs MDM. That was a parking lot court.

I've erased that match from my memory!
Maumau coming up with tons of BS net approaches that clearly aren't working, which is somewhat odd since her ground game appears to be at least a bit stronger than last year.

Jesus, Baltacha. Mauresmo is no longer a top player, you don't need to choke against her anymore. Four errors in a row after being 30-0 up and thus just two points from the set.
And you could SEE her choke, she keeps whispering "Come on" the entire time between the points.

And a Mauresmo vs some scrub match is bound to be a disaster. If Mauresmo is cruising, it means the scrub is playing absolute shit. If she's struggling, they're both playing absolute shit. So true. Poor Am and her loyal fans. I like her a lot but I had to abandon Amelie fan-dom years ago for the sale my sanity.

I have to say ... just awful stuff from Nalbandian yesterday. At least he can content himself being the Sydney champ. Baltacha beating Mauresmo would be funny. I thought Amelie might be getting it back a little when she beat Ivanovic the other week, but then I found out how Ana was playing. Is there a reason why Akgul should be losing to MJMS?

So ... Canadians. I had no idea that TSN2 existed, but it does now, apparently, and it's showing a lot of tennis and I am getting that channel (apparently). Between TSN and TSN2, I am getting tennis coverage like I'm some sort of American!
Anybody else have this strange sensation?
